1979: П. 25 YEARS ANNUAL REPORT INTRO 1 Pope Benedict XVI spoke of the prophecies of Fatima, saying that: “anyone who thinks that the prophetic message of the Virgin Mary of Fatima is over, has been misled.” The message of Fatima must be understood by all as a strong call to holiness to protect us from the devastation that sin and evil cause for all mankind. Namely, the separation of man from God. The prophecies of Fati- ma send a message of hope, salvation and peace if we put God at the centre of our lives. Caritas means merciful love - God’s love. We love God as we love ourselves. Whatever we do for the oppressed, we do it for God, and thus ourselves. This is why the motto of Caritas Sofia is “Christ’s love for everyone”. Caritas is one such organised forms of charity in the Catholic Church, for whom it is important to not only collect and distribute material support, but above all, with our actions and purposeful ef- Bishop Hristo Proykov forts, to listen to the voices of the sufferers. In a spirit of solidarity and charity, we are their support, Apostolic Exarch helping them to regain their dignity and to take their lives into their own hands. In his message on the World Day of the Poor, launched on 19th November 2017, Pope Francis reminded us: “We may think of the poor simply as the beneficiaries of our occasional volunteer work, or of impromptu acts of generosity that appease our conscience. However good and use- ful such acts may be for making us sensitive to people’s needs and the injustices that are often their cause, they ought to lead to a true encounter with the poor and a sharing that becomes a way of life.” In 2017, Caritas Sofia continued to build bridges with poor and vulnerable people, so that this coming together of sharing, that the Holy Father talked about, became our work and purpose.

But success has been less frequent, because the knowledge of coins is essentially a knowledge of details, and small treatises are apt to be un- readable when they contain too many references to particular coins, and unprofltably vague when such references are avoided. I cannot hope that I have passed safely between these two dangers ; indeed, my desire has been to avoid the second at all risk of encountering the former. At the same time it may be said that this book is not meant for the collector who desires only to identify the coins which he happens to possess, while caring little for the wider problems of history, art, mythology, and religion, to which coins sometimes furnish the only key.

  • A Great Way to Relax Visit to Sliven Cathedral, Planetarium ( Observatory ) and an Ancient History Museum in Yambol, Bulgaria
? Walking in Light with Christ - Faith, Computing, Diary Free Software GNU Linux, FreeBSD, Unix, Windows, Mac OS - Hacks, Goodies, Tips and Tricks and The True Meaning of life http://www.pc-freak.net/blog A great way to relax visit to Sliven Cathedral, Planetarium ( Observatory ) and an Ancient History museum in Yambol, Bulgaria Author : admin It is very odd that nowadays most of people, don't know even their own countries but visit many other countries and significant places, without even knowing the hidden gems (the great places you can relax in) in their own country. I'm not exception to this rule and I've never made a trip visit through whole Bulgaria even though I live here most of the time for the last 34 years of my life. Just before Christmas, I was in Pomorie Monastery for a 4 days spiritual and physical rest and it happened that one of the Monks Father Sergij with his novice monk Damian had to travel to a village near Yambol for an unexpected funeral of the Godfather of Damian. Since they were about to travel to Jambol (Yambol) and there was 2 places in the car, they agreed to take me and my wife for a short few hours trip to Yambol. And that's how I got the great chance to visit Yambol, Bulgaria for a first time in life. I didn't know what to expect as I've never been in Yambol but only have been near by in Bakadjika's Monastery and the nearly organized Motorcycle Show Rocker feast just one time.
