The proposed construction is utilizing Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) methods, including a complete superstructure slide-in under a two-week detour. This alternative was selected to minimize disruption to the traveling public. The project includes major utility coordination, right-of-way involvement, environmental constraints and extensive stakeholder coordination. The existing bridge is designated as a section of the D&L Trail, therefore a 10’ multi-use path will be added to the proposed structure.. PennDOT District 6-0, SR 0001, Bridge Rehabilitation over SEPTA, Montgomery & Philadelphia Counties, PA. Responsible for the design of structure rehabilitation efforts for the existing arch structure carrying SR 0001 over SEPTA Regional Rail. Project involves SEPTA ADA coordination and staged construction evaluations along a highly utilized corridor of SR 0001. Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Design Manager, Total Reconstruction Section MO 57-67. Design Manager responsible for the overview and coordination of the design efforts for 10 miles of total reconstruction of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. This project involves one early action bridge replacement as well as the reconstruction of an existing interchange.  CHA Consulting, Inc. – 9/07 to 12/15 PennDOT District 5-0, Exeter Township, Harvey Avenue Superstructure Replacement, Berks County, PA. Responsible for pursuit, win and management of this $500k District 5-0 Local Bridge Agreement. PennDOT District 6-0, SR 0422 Section PM2, Pavement Preservation/Bridge Rehabilitation Project, Montgomery County, PA. Responsible for pursuit, win and management of this $1.2 M Project Specific Open-End for District 6-0. Includes 4.5 miles of pavement preservation and 7 structure rehabilitations.
