Kia ora Koutou, Super well done to all our students and their efforts for the way they ran the cross country on Monday. The conditions were testing but each and every student did their best which was fabulous. We had some students attend Ohinemuri on Friday and they did us proud also. This week students will be practicing their speeches in preparation for presenting in week 7. We otherwise have a normal week of literacy, numeracy, passion projects/project based learning. Whaea Emma will be back with us on Wednesday. We have loved having Miss D with us this last week. Nga Mihi - Mrs Robinson, Matua Wayne.

Speeches went home last week for the children to practise. It is not necessary for them to remember the speech word for word but to feel confident standing in front of their peers and presenting it. We have been looking at geometry in numeracy this term. In particular 2D and 3D shapes. Thank you to those parents who have been sending along milk bottle lids to school, it was much appreciated. I have enough at the moment and will share on Seesaw this week what the children will be doing with them. Have a great week.
