GranFondo & Sportive Coaching Camp, La Clusaz 6–13 June 2021 Welcome! The Alpine Cols difference: • A real expertise and focus on one-on-one coaching for performance. • Intimate knowledge of the best climbs in the Alps. • Excellent hotels, fantastic food and 5* service! Marvin, Emmanuelle, Olivier and Stéphane are looking forward to a wonderful week’s cycling with you, having fun while we learn and train together. The camp includes rides, workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to help you improve your performance. There are some long rides, but always with a strong focus on technique, such as descending or pacing for GranFondos or multi-stage events like the Haute Route. The off-the-bike activities give you key points to focus on the following day as well as during the later build-up to your key events. There will also be daily massages available to help recovery during the camp. From convivial buffet breakfasts to relaxed dinners in the cosy dining room, via picnic lunches and the “cake of the day” French gastronomy takes pride of place and the meals are a real highlight of the day. Our goal is that you have a wonderful time and leave us fitter, but also more efficient, with better technique and with a clear picture of what you need to work on in the coming months. More than that, we hope you become friends who will come back again and again - as is already the case for many of you! Safe rides, Marvin & Emmanuelle Marvin MA, MBA, BC coach CYCLING COACHES Marvin, Olivier, Silas, Stéphane and Yannick are not only highly qualified, experienced cycling coaches but also strong (or very strong!) competitors in their own right.

  • A Great Season, Everyone!
GUIDE FOR SEASONAL WORKERS WINTER/SUMMER 2010-2011 HAVE A GREAT Pays du Mont-Blanc - Arve Valley SEASON Hello and welcome! 652,000 tourist beds 2nd most popular department for tourism in France From Mont Blanc and the Aravis mountains to the shores of Lake Léman and Lake Annecy, Haute-Savoie offers an idyllic setting for numerous seasonal employees. These workers help ensure enjoyable holidays for tourists from all over the globe. With the current economic climate showing signs of improvement, tourism remains the number one job creation sector in Haute Savoie, showing expansion in the hospitality and ski lift industries. Tourism is an industry that can’t be relocated overseas, and thus represents a vital asset for the future. Since 2007, the public authorities (national government, Regional Councils, and General Councils), elected officials, labour and management groups, and all players involved in social issues (C.A.F., C.P.A.M., M.S.A., subsidized housing, occupational health services) have mobilized to promote seasonal employment as a priority for the department, notably including it in a goals charter. With this framework in mind, and to ensure that seasonal workers « have a good season », the regions of Pays du Mont Blanc and Chablais have mobilized to welcome these employees by means of the Chamonix « Espace Saisonnier » (centre for seasonal workers) and the Chablais « Point Accueil Saisonnier » (information desk for seasonal workers). On a larger scale, Haute-Savoie strives to inform seasonal workers more thoroughly by publishing this guide. Here, employees and employers will find answers to a variety of questions that may concern them, including training, employment, working conditions, health, and housing.

PRESS PACK WINTER 2020 / 2021 savoie mont blanc Located between lakes and mountains, Savoie Mont Blanc is a beautiful area for a winter break. Savoie Mont Blanc has 110 ski resorts, including some world-famous ones such as Val d’Isère, Méribel, Courchevel, Chamonix… and many more. But there are also some smaller ones, which are not well-known by British skiers. This winter could be the ideal time to visit a smaller resort for alpine skiing and also to try some other winter sport activities, such as cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. These eco-friendly activities are the perfect way to peacefully enjoy the beautiful vistas and the pure mountain air, while coming back super-fit from your holiday. If you opt for slow travel, why not stop for a few nights before or after going to a ski resort? There are many charming hotels in the pretty towns of Chambéry, Aix-les-Bains and Annecy, as well as by the lakes and in the vineyards. In the valleys and mountains, more and more hotels and residences are eco-friendly. This sustainable trend is being taken up by restaurants too, which are offering more and more organic, local and seasonal produce. Whatever type of winter holiday you choose, Savoie Mont Blanc is the perfect place to reboot and feel re-energised once back home. Savoie Mont Blanc is easy to access by plane (airports include Chambéry, Grenoble, Lyon and Geneva) and car. Although there is no Snowtrain this winter, Savoie Mont Blanc is still easily accessible by train: take the Eurostar to Paris or Lille, then the TGV to Chambéry or Annecy (it takes less than 3 hours from Paris to Chambéry and less than 4 hours for Annecy).
