Meelick is located in south Clare, just a few kilometres north of Co. Limerick. Many of the closest services to Meelick are located in Limerick rather than Clare.
Clare is in the Mid-West Region of Ireland and the province of Munster, on the West Coast by the Atlantic Ocean. The largest town is Ennis and the closest city is Limerick City.
County Clare has a rich, traditional Irish culture, and is a popular tourist destination because of its landscapes and wild beauty. The county colours are blue and yellow, and the Gaelic football and hurling teams wear these colours when they play against other counties.
