The Honolulu Quarterback Club, celebrating 64 Years, is pleased to announce the following Guest Speakers for their luncheon, Monday, December 20th., at the MGR: • Bob Hogue – Commissioner – Pacific West Conference • Marilyn Moniz-Kaho'ohanohano - Associate Athletics Director - Senior Woman Administrator - University of Hawai’i

Bob Hogue - Commissioner - Pacific West Conference - Commissioner Bob has been his job since 2007 year and and returns to the HQC to update us on the Maui Invitational completed at the end of November. In the fall, the Pacific West selects champions in men's and women's soccer, women's , and men's and women's cross country, while in the winter season the PacWest focuses on men's and women's . In the spring, , the PacWest concentrates on women's , men's , and beginning in 2009, the PacWest included . The current roster of Schools in the PacWest are, Academy of Art University,Brigham Young University- Hawai’i, Chaminade University, Dixie State College of Utah, Dominican University of , , University of Hawai’i at Hilo, Hawaii Pacific University and Notre Dame de Namur University. Bob has been involved in television broadcasting for more than 30 years, spent time in print media and was a State Senator for the State of Hawai’i. Currently Bob hosts a sports talk show. PacWest Magazine on Radio and is the host of PacWest Magazine on OC-16 Television. In addition, Bob is a Sports Columnist for Midweek. Bob will bring us up-to-date on the current season for all the sports in the PacWest. Commissioner Bob will entertain questions from attendees at the HQC Luncheon on Monday.

Marilyn Moniz-Kaho'ohanohano - Associate Athletics Director - Senior Woman Administrator - University of Hawai’i - Marilyn returns to the HQC entering her 19th year at the University. Her responsibilities include overseeing women's volleyball, soccer, water polo, cheerleading, men's golf, men and women's tennis, sailing and men and women's swimming and diving. At the same time, Marilyn monitors gender equity and NCAA compliance within the department. She continues to supervise student services/academics. She also contributes to reaching the department's goal to reach financial stability while making improvements in the areas of student services and creating additional academic services for the student-athletes and enhancing their life skills, and compliance. Marilyn will be available questions from luncheon attendees at the Maple Garden Restaurant.

The Maple Garden Restaurant is located at 909 Isenberg (near the corner of King and Isenberg directly across from the Old Stadium Park) and there is free parking next to the Restaurant or street parking is available. The entrance to the meeting room is located at the rear of the Maple Garden building through the parking lot.

Lunch is at 11:30 am and the program begins at 12 noon. The luncheon cost is $15.00 per person for members and guests which includes tax and gratuities.
