resulting in many episodes of , as well as , Needles and Pins, Foley Square and . He earned a 1988 Emmy for . After many productive years as a television director, Peter heard the call of Pebble Beach.

Peter played in the Crosby three times and liked the golf here – he had two rounds in one year with holes in one. Golf grabbed him and he was ready to let go of LA’s pace. Peter married Terry in 1977 and moved here 10 years later, where he picked up sailing again and began helping as Secretary at SYC. Peter had fallen in love with sailing on Lake Michigan as a child. He joined the yacht club at Wilmette Harbor in Evanston, Illinois. He continued to love how each sailing experience was uniquely different, and especially enjoyed sailing other people’s boats! As Secretary, Peter enjoyed recording the minutes and preserving the humor that takes place during the monthly meetings. Lacing the meeting minutes with humorous twists, Peter knew that someone has read the minutes when they commented on his humor, which just flowed naturally in his writing. He hoped his habit of making life’s serious moments more enjoyable long survives his role serving as Secretary for SYC.

Sadly, Peter passed away on November 19th. We offer Peter's family our condolences and our heartfelt thanks for his years of service to SYC.
