RESULTS AND CERTIFICATION Upon successful completion of this programme, will receive a: • National Certificate at each Level N1, N2, N3, N4, N5 and N6 • National N Diploma in Civil Engineering (on completion of N4-N6 and 24 months in-service training) • Certificates and diplomas are issued by the DHET • All qualifications are nationally recognised • Statement of Results will only be issued by the DHET • Release of Statements of Results and Certificates are dependent on national timelines set by DHET. ARTICULATION A candidate who has successfully completed the N4, N5 and N6 Certificates, may pursue the following path in order to obtain the National-N Diploma, as per Report 191 from the DHET. The candidate must: • Fulfil the minimum requirements for the issuing of a certificate on each of the following levels: N4, N5 and N6. • Complete a minimum of two instructional offerings which must be relevant to the candidate’s career-path. • Upon completion of the N6 certificate, the candidate must obtain work experience over a period of 24 months in the field related to his/her studies. At the end of this period, an application form and a logbook must be completed and submitted to Central Technical College for the evaluation of qualifications and experience to comply with the requirements of the National N Diploma. The following certified copies must be attached: • ID Document • National N Certificates (N4, N5 and N6) • Letter from employer confirming position held, KPA’s, appointment start date and end date, and main responsibilities Central Technical College will evaluate the application form as well as the documentary proof and submit the application to the DHET. The DHET will then evaluate the application and, if successful, certify the learner against the National N Diploma. FURTHER STUDIES Please enquire at the nearest Central Technical College campus. Report prepared by Paleo Field Services PO Box 38806, Langenhovenpark 9330 16 / 02 / 2020 Summary A heritage impact assessment was carried for a proposed new 1.5 km-long underground sewerage pipeline in Paul Roux in the Thabo Mofutsanyane District Municipality, Free State Province. The study area is situated on the farm Farm Mary Ann 712, next to the N5 national road covering a section of the Sand River floodplain which is located on the eastern outskirts of Paul Roux . The proposed footprint is underlain by well-developed alluvial and geologically recent overbank sediments of the Sand River. Investigation of exposed alluvial cuttings next to the bridge crossing shows little evidence of intact Quaternary fossil remains. Potentially fossil-bearing Tarkastad Subgroup and younger Molteno Formation strata are exposed to the southwest of the study area. These outcrops will not be impacted by the proposed development. There are no major palaeontological grounds to suspend the proposed development. The study area consists for the most part of open grassland currently used for cattle grazing. The foot survey revealed little evidence of in situ Stone Age archaeological material, capped or distributed as surface scatters on the landscape. There are also no indications of rock art, prehistoric structures or other historical structures or buildings older than 60 years within the vicinity of the study area. A large cemetery is located directly west of the proposed footprint. The modern bridge construction at the Sand River crossing is not considered to be of historical significance.

    Progress on QCD theory beyond three loops J. Vermaseren ”We” means a topic dependent subset of the following people: Giulio Falcioni, Franz Herzog, Ben Ruijl, Takahiro Ueda, JV, Josh Davies, Sven Moch, Andreas Vogt Introduction After finding the Higgs it looks like the major discovery potential of the LHC is in precision physics. To match experimental and theoretical precisions we need to go beyond NNLO with QCD. Al- ready Higgs production has been computed at 3 loops (NNNLO). In principle needs matching splitting functions, ie 4 loops. Interesting from the theoretical viewpoint: To what number of loops will the series be con- verging? It seems better converging than it has a ”right to be”. Over the past few years the Karlsruhe group has managed to compute a number of 4/5-loop QCD quantities. At great cost. Also Velizhanin got a (very) few moments of the nonsinglet splitting functions at 4 loops. Recently we completed a program (Forcer) for the reduction of 4-loop massless propagator diagrams to master integrals in the style of the 3-loop Mincer program. Mincer was used for the computation of many 3-loop (and some 4-loop) quantities in QCD. Hence: L → L + 1. If possible it is an advantage to compute for arbitrary Yang-Mills theories with fermions.
