Page 2 of 5 March, 2013; Support Election Trainer (SET), Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, West Pokot County. -Implemented the electoral training plans developed by the Commissions headquarters. - Developed and distributed electoral training materials at cascaded levels. - Carried out actual training of the Presiding Officers their deputies with the supervision of the Returning Officers. - Supervised and evaluated other individuals that were engaged in the training of clerks at lower level clusters. - Assessed the evaluation forms and compiled electoral training reports. 23rd – 28th February, 2013; I worked as an Enumerator/Data Collector for Action Against Hunger/Action Contre la faim (ACF); - I worked in a team that acquired the primary data for Knowledge, Attitudes & Practices (KAP) survey carried out in 35 randomly selected clusters/villages of West Pokot county to establish the KAP on Infant and Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) in the community. - Conducted Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) on IYCN. On May, 2012; we had conducted an Integrated Nutrition and Food Survey, using the Standardized Monitoring and Assessment in Relief Transitions (SMART) methodology, to determine the rates of acute malnutrition amongst children aged 6- 59 months and the population’s mortality rates in 39 randomly selected clusters in West Pokot County; - Carried out observations of presence of Oedema, kwashiorkor and marasmus in children under 59 months. - Took MUAC measurements of children under 59 months & lactating mothers. -Collected data on immunization, micro-nutrient supplementation and anthropometric measurements (age, weight, height/length, MUAC) amongst children aged 0 – 59 months. 13th November - 18th December, 2012; Biometric Voter registration (BVR) clerk for Independent Electoral & Boundaries Commission. Together with other clerks, I was responsible for registering new voters and updating the particulars of existing voters in the commission’s database using a BVR kit. 15th September, 2011 – 16th January, 2012; Coder/Data Entry clerk for Truth Justice & Reconciliation Commission (TJRC), Kenya; as part of a group of clerks, I was responsible in converting qualitative data into quantitative data from the statements collected by TJRC from the victims of 2007 post-election violence. 3rd May – 30th July, 2010; Quality Assurance officer (Attachee) at the Testing Services Department of Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), Nairobi.
