Tilaisuuksissa käsiteltiin maahanmuuttoa tutkimustietoon perustuen, esittävän taiteen keinoin, yhdessä baarin asiakkaiden kanssa. Taustamateriaalina käytettiin sosiaalipsykologian alan tutkimuksia, jotka tarkastelivat maahanmuutta- jien identiteettiä ja asemaa Suomessa sekä maahanmuuttajien ja suomalaisten ta- poja käsitellä monikulttuurisuutta ja jäsenyyttä suomalaisessa yhteiskunnassa. Ta- voitteena oli lähestyä tätä ajankohtaista ja kiistanalaistakin aihepiiriä draaman ja keskustelun kautta, tavalla, joka purkaa rajalinjoja ja vastakkainasettelun sijaan tuottaa epätodennäköisiä kohtaamisia, aidosti vastavuoroisia oppimiskokemuksia ja uudenlaisia näkökulmia kaikille osapuolille.
