Lunch at local Hotel. Laoag Sinking Bell tower – This 45 meter high bell tower is one of the tallest built in the country. A landmark in the city’s skyline the bell tower was constructed by the Augustinian Fathers several hundred years ago. St. Williams Cathedral – One of the biggest cathedrals in the country and it is the seat of the Diocese of Laoag. The Augustinians built the church of Italian Renaissance design in 1612. Its unique 2-storey façade is held by 4 pairs of coupled columns. Aurora Parak - where the statue of the maiden Pamulinawen state in center and is strategically placed atop the fountain. Paoay Church (St. Augustine Church) – Built of Coral blocks and stucco-plastered bricks, the architecture is a unique combination of Gothic, Baroque and Oriental. Construction of the church was started in 1704 and completed in 1894. In 1992, the church is nominated to the UNESCO’s World Heritage List and officially inscribed in 1993. Malacanang of the North - It is among a number of properties belonging to the Marcos family which were sequestered by the Philippine Government when President Marcos was removed from power. Restorations and renovations were commenced by the region's Governor, and in 2011 the property and grounds were opened up to the public as a museum. With its sprawling expanse, this imposing mansion is intricately designed and has a mix of Spanish and Ilocano architecture. Enjoy the beautiful fountain show here. St.Paul Metropolitan Cathedral – The massive structure was built in 1799 by the Augustinians in the distinctive Ilocano baroque architecture. The three tiered façade betrays some Chinese influence such as carvings of dogs placed near the religious figures or statues. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site declaration for the Historic Town of Vigan in 1999. Calle Crisologo (Vigan Historical Town) – Kamestizoan District in Vigan is replete with ancestral houses with ancient tile roofs massive hardwood floorings, balustrades and azoteas in varying Spanish-Mexican- Chinese architectural styles. It is also where the cobble stones main road is located. It is included in the UNESCO’S World Heritage List. This place is a protected that was furnished with landscapes creating a stunning view of creative nature. 4x4s and sand boarding are the popular activities here. To roam around and enjoy the view of the Sand Dunes and Suba Beach. (Not recommended for physically challenged, medical condition and handicapped passengers.) . Paoay Church (St. Augustine Church) [UNESCO]– it is a historical church located in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. During the Philippine Revolution in 1898, its coral stone bell tower was used by the Katipuneros as an observation post. Paoay Church is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. It currently is a property of the Diocese of Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Rizal Park – Rizal Park is a historical urban park located in the heart of the city of Manila. The park was a tribute to the Philippine's national hero, Jose Rizal, a doctor and novelist.
