Lista Oficial De Participantes En V Conferencia General Lista oficial de participantes en V Conferencia General El diario L’Osservatore Romano publicó en su edición en italiano la lista oficial de participantes en la V Conferencia General del Episcopado Latinoamericano y el Caribe que se celebrará en mayor próximo en Aparecida, Brasil. La relación está compuesta por 266 personas, divididos entre 162 miembros, 81 invitados, 8 observadores y 15 peritos. Además de los tres presidentes y dos secretarios de la V Conferencia, figuran como miembros 14 cardenales latinoamericanos, la Presidencia del Consejo Episcopal Latinoamericano (CELAM) y de la Pontificia Comisión para América Latina (CAL), los presidentes de las distintas Conferencias Episcopales de la región, los 93 delegados escogidos por cada Episcopado, 15 miembros nombrados por el Santo Padre, el Secretario General del Sínodo de los Obispos, tres Nuncios Apostólicos, representantes de Consejos de Conferencias Episcopales y ocho obispos de otras Conferencias Episcopales. Entre los invitados, figuran 24 sacerdotes diocesanos, cuatro diáconos permanentes, 16 religiosos y religiosas, 15 laicos, cinco superiores mayores, tres miembros de la Confederación Latinoamericana de Religiosos (CLAR) y una representante de la Confederación de Institutos Seculares en América Latina (CISAL). Además, el Santo ha invitado a representantes de cinco movimientos eclesiales que tienen importancia en América Latina el Camino Neocatecumenal,Shalom, Comunión y Liberación, Schöenstatt y el Sodalicio de Vida Cristiana; además de representantes de organismos de ayuda, ocho observadores y 15 peritos. A organização citou uma dúzia de cardeais da Argentina, Austrália, Canadá, Estados Unidos, Gana, Honduras, Itália, México e República Tcheca acusados de proteger os padres pedófilos ou por realizar declarações defendendo os padres ou minimizando a situação. Todos eles são considerados candidatos a sucessão do Papa Bento XVI, muito criticado pela forma como conduziu os escândalos.
