Downham Market Date: February2020 Message from Inspector Vicky Hebborn I am excited to announce that 2020 will see the launch of ‘Operation Blizzard’, a proactive policing ap- proach based on the feedback we have received from residents and councillors over the last few months. Operation Blizzard introduces protected, dedicated time for your beat managers to immerse themselves into projects or investigations in your local area. The operation also introduces a monthly ‘Action Day’ whereby the combined beat teams of the Downham Market, and Hunstanton Districts come together to carry out a high-visibility policing initiative. This could range from public engagement events, to executing warrants based on intelligence around criminal activity.
