Here, one of our students describes her experience of moving to London from Italy and gives advice to anybody considering coming here to study.

“Being a student in London can be very inspirational. It’s a city with plenty of opportunities related to the course you are studying. What I’m loving the most about being a student here is the possibility of meeting people from so many different backgrounds. It means you can have an interesting exchange of ideas and feedback. Moving to another country with a different language and being far away from your family can be challenging. My advice is to try to find elements in your new city that somehow remind you of home and make you feel comfortable. Starting a new life in a new city as a student makes things easier because you have the opportunity to meet people and make new friends from the very first day at university. My advice is to let yourself be absorbed by the beauty of the city. There is a whole world around London to explore!” arts.ac.uk/living-in-london
