Change there into the Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) train to Augsburg Hauptbahnhof, and after 20, 40 minutes you will be there. The overall price of the two tickets is approximately € 29. By Bus: This is the cheapest way to get to Augsburg form the Munich Airport, but options are limited as buses only operate during certain hours (usually at 9:50 and 20:35). We recommend you check the website for exact options and booking. The price per trip is € 8 and the trip is around 1.5 hours. The bus arrives next to the Augsburg Park + Ride Nord tramway station. There, you can take the tramway line No. 4 to the City Center. https://global.flixbus.com Volunteers ready to assist you: Known as SymPaten i n Germany, volunteers will wait for you to help you to find connections, find your way to the hotel, events. You will be able to easily recognize them by their outfits: dark blue t-shirt, jacket, and orange umbrella and scarf. You will see them all over: starting at the Munich Airport and the Munich Main Station, as well as at the Augsburg Main Station and the Königsplatz (the central spot for changing tramway lines in the city). Look for them on Monday from 9:30am to 4:30 and Tuesday from 9:30am to 7:00pm. Money: Remember to take money in cash with you (euros). Many small and local shops do not take credit cards.
