There will be motivating mes- sages from Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers and Father Tim MacDonald, adoration and confessions, a pig roast by Stick-A-Pig-In-It, music by Brian Flynn and Band, and Mass with Bishop Earl Boyea (4:00p). Good Shepherd Catholic Radio will have a table at the Conference to distribute information about our radio station in Jackson and our efforts to bring Catholic Radio to Lansing. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” - Ephesians 6:16-17 GSCR Catholic Authors Of Michigan The GSCR Catholic Authors Of Michigan book sale will be held on Saturday, March 30th, from 10:00a-2:00p at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, Vincentian Hall, 1111 Carlton Blvd, Jackson, MI 49203. Radio personalities Bill Kassel and Frank Pomarico will be on hand to conduct live on-air interviews with the Cath- olic Authors in attendance, such as Gene Hausmann, Gary Michuta, Kathryn Mulderink, Margaret Rose Realy, Doug Shumard, and others. Books will be available for purchase and may be autographed by the au- thors. Refreshments will be provided by The Jackson Coffee Company and Hinkley Donuts. Everyone that attended last year’s book sale agreed it was an exciting and fun event that Good Shepherd Catholic Radio should sponsor every year. So come along and enjoy the experience! New GSCR Equipment Acquisition The Knights of Columbus Councils of Jackson County and the State of Michigan Organization donated funds for a new GSCR equipment acquisition that will enable GSCR to produce live broadcasts from remote loca- tions. The first use of the new equipment will be to broadcast live interviews from the GSCR Catholic Au- thors Of Michigan book sale at Queen’s Vincentian Hall on March 30th. GSCR sincerely thanks the many members of the Knights of Columbus for their generous donation that made this possible.
