Egalement disponible en break (ST), elle ajoute une boîte automatique directement venue de chez Audi. Avec l'Exeo, Seat a réussi des économies exceptionnelles. Il y a deux ans, le constructeur ibérique lançait une berline, puis un break l'année dernière. Esthétiquement, cette voiture n'est autre qu'un tour de passe-passe entre Seat et son cousin Audi. L'Exeo étant tout simplement l'ancienne génération d'Audi A4 (vendue entre 2001 et 2007). Alors forcément, on pourra reprocher à l'Exeo une certaine ancienneté de conception. Toujours est-il que l'ancienne A4 n'a pas encore eu le temps de mal vieillir. Avec l'Exeo, on oublie donc les coûts impressionnants sur le développement d'une nouvelle voiture et on se limite essentiellement sur le design. Encore que, seules la face avant et les feux arrière (logo Seat à l'appui) permettent réellement de se rappeler qu'elle vient bien d'Espagne. L'habitacle utilise strictement la même recette et, pour tout vous dire, il n'y a que le volant pour nous rappeler là encore que l'on n'est pas dans une Audi. Forcément, la présentation, les différents matériaux et l'assemblage appartiennent au monde du premium. -

Der neue 2.0-Liter- Turbodiesel mit 105 kW/143 PS sorgt für durchschnittliche Fahrleistungen. 2,7 AUTOKOSTEN Vor allem die Durchzugskraft in den hohen Gängen kann nicht überzeugen. Dafür hält er sich beim Kraftstoffverbrauch zurück. Beim ADAC EcoTest Zielgruppencheck verbraucht er durchschnittlich 5,3 Liter auf 100 Kilometer. Fahrgefühl und 2,4 Familie Bedienung erinnern an den "Audi von damals" und vermitteln ein bewährtes, aber keinesfalls veraltetes Gefühl. Die Verarbeitung liegt auf sehr gutem 2,8 Stadtverkehr Niveau. Das Fahrverhalten ist solide und sicher. Mit einem Grundpreis von 30.790 Euro liegt der Exeo ST 2.0 TDI trotz der gehobenen 2,6 Senioren Ausstattungsvariante Sport im akzeptablen Bereich und vor allem einige 2,1 Langstrecke tausend Euro unterhalb des aktuellen Audi A4. Wer nicht unbedingt Wert auf ein komplett neu entwickeltes Auto legt, darf beim Exeo getrost zugreifen. 2,7 Transport Karosserievarianten: Limousine. DO YOU fancy a Spanish Audi A4 Avant? Sounds daft, but that, more or less, By Tim Barnes-Clay, Motoring Writer is what SEAT is offering you with the Exeo Sport Tourer. SEAT Exeo ST www.carwriteups.co.uk Twitter: @carwriteups The car isn’t quite as handsome as the German legend, but it’s not far o. The interior is almost identical to that of the previous generation A4 and the exterior, apart from the head and tail light clusters – and the obvious lack of four rings - is pretty much a carbon copy. These are all good things because the SEAT Exeo ST feels solid, well screwed together and classy – just like an old generation Audi A4 in fact. And, guess what? It drives just as well. It really does. The version I had on test was the SE Tech 2.0 TDI CR 143 PS Multitronic. The model’s automatic gearbox with steering wheel paddles makes the estate a perfect long distance, sporty, cruiser and, without any clutch in, clutch out action, city driving is a cinch. The car has bags of pulling power, however at slower speeds the steering feels slightly heavy, but there is little else to complain about. Lift the tailgate and the cargo area of the SEAT Exeo ST is large, square and low, which makes for easy loading. Prams, golf clubs and boxes just slide in, and there’s a very handy, retractable load cover to hide everything from prying eyes. So, what else should you know about this executive class SEAT? Well, recent styling enhancements, boosted by smart new alloy wheel designs, have further emphasized the Exeo’s premium appearance, while upgrades to interior materials – including better leather on the steering wheel and revised upholstery – have created a matching quality feel. -

Zeker in Nederland is de consument uiterst kritisch en is tevens bereid om wat dieper in de buidel te tasten als daar een mooi design of betere afwerking tegenover staat. Ten opzichte van zijn voorganger is de nieuwe Superb een flinke stap voorwaarts. Zowel de sedan als de combi liggen bijzonder prettig op het netvlies, zeker als gekozen wordt voor een goede kleur en grote wielen. -

Pressemitteilung Salzburg, 11.02.2009 Der neue SEAT EXEO Österreich-Informationen Mit dem neuen SEAT Exeo erweitern die Spanier ihren Angebotsradius erstmals in das B-Segment. Die 4,60 Meter lange, sportlich-solide Limousine wird in Martorell unter Berücksichtigung der neuesten Qualitätssicherungsprozesse produziert. Der SEAT Exeo verbindet modernste Technologie mit den SEAT typischen Eigenschaften: hohe Qualität und Fahrspaß. Die Fahreigenschaften sind betont sportlich agil ausgelegt, ohne dabei auf erstklassigen Federungskomfort zu verzichten. Erreicht wird dies durch die neue Vier-Lenker-Verbund-Vorderachse und der Querlenker-Hinterachse. Die Linienführung und die qualitativ hochwertigen Materialien erfüllen nahezu Oberklasse-Ansprüche. Mit dem Exeo bietet SEAT eine interessante Alternative für sportliche Fahrer im klassischen Mittelklassesegment. Auch bestehende SEAT Kunden, die vom A-Segment aufsteigen wollen, finden die Lösung nun innerhalb der Marke. Vor allem aber ist der Exeo sehr interessant für qualitätsbewusste Firmen- und Flottenkunden, die Fahrspaß, Top-Qualität, Top-Technologie und hohe Ausstattung gepaart mit fairem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Wirtschaftlichkeit schätzen. Marktsituation und Marktposition Das Mittelklassesegment steht seit Jahren im starken Wettbewerb. Neben den klassischen Limousinen haben neue Karosserieformen wie MPV oder SUV sehr erfolgreich Einzug gehalten. Die Modellvielfalt nahm zu (2000: 62 Modelle bis 2008: 89 Modelle), dennoch ging das Segment in den letzten Jahren leicht nach unten (2000: 26%, 2008: 19,4 %). Der Anteil der klassischen Mittelklasse Limousinen innerhalb des Segments wurde durch die Vielfalt des Angebots zwar etwas schwächer, konnte sich aber in den letzten Jahren einpendeln, 2008 lagen die B-Limousinen bei knapp 13% und nehmen damit 20% im Segment ein. Traditionell sehr hoch ist der Anteil der Flottenfahrzeuge im B-Segment. -

PRESS RELEASE 13:00 BST, 25th August 2016 London, UK EUROPEAN CAR REGISTRATIONS IN JULY FELL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 34 MONTHS . New car registrations dropped by 2.3% in July compared to the same period last year . Volkswagen continued to be the best-selling brand despite a reduction in overall market share . The SUV segment continued to grow, posting an 11.9% increase New car registrations in the 29 markets analysed by JATO Dynamics dropped by 2.3% in July, falling from 1.18 million in July 2015 to 1.16 million for the same period this year. This fall in registrations marked the end of 34 months of continuous growth, the last time European registrations fell was August 2013. The two fewer working days in July may have been a contributor to this result, along with the significant decline of two of the largest European car groups, PSA and VW, who recorded a 13.2% and 8.8% fall in registrations respectively. The UK posted a slight increase of 0.1% which is an improvement on June’s figures. Of the large markets, France and Germany recorded significant drops of 9.6% and 3.9% respectively, whilst the others recorded modest increases, with Italy posting a 2.6% rise and Spain a 4.4% increase. Volkswagen was the best-selling brand, with 136,393 units registered, accounting for 11.8% of the total market. But in comparison, in July 2015 its volume of 152,863 accounted for 12.9% of the total market. Despite still leading the market in terms of sales, Volkswagen recorded the highest drop of any brand in the top ten, falling by 10.8% compared to the same period last year, closely followed by Skoda and Peugeot who both recorded a 10.5% drop. -
