FURTHER NOTICE
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES (ALL ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in relation to a temporary prohibition of vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along parts of roads within Milton Keynes whilst essential inspections, maintenance and repair works are carried out to the carriageway. The restrictions were brought into effect under the provisions of the above-named Order, which was made by the Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes on 10th March 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as first notified on 5th March 2020.
TAKE NOTICE that works are for Defects Maintenance works, it is necessary to introduce a road closure in order for the works to be carried out.
The following lengths of road will be closed on the following Dates and Times:
14th December 2020 • The Limes, Stony Stratford (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Park Road, Calverton Road and London Road (and vice versa)
14th December 2020 – 15th December 2020 • Ibstone Avenue, Bradwell Common (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Booker Avenue and Stockenchurch Place (and vice versa)
15th December 2020 • Brudenell Drive, Brinklow (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Bransworth Avenue, Groveway and Tongwell Street (and vice versa)
16th December 2020 • Tanfield Lane, Middleton (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Worrelle Avenue, Tongwell Street and Kelling Way (and vice versa)
17th December 2020 • North Street, Castlethorpe (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Hanslope Road, Castlethorpe Road, Park Road (and vice versa)
• Station Road, Castlethorpe (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Wolverton Road, Haversham Road, Stratford Road, Queen Eleanor Street, A508 and Yardley Road (and vice versa)
• Walbrook Avenue, Springfield (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Clerkerwell Place, Springfield Boulevard, Marlborough Street and Childs Way (and vice versa)
• Underwood Place, Oldbrook (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via The Oval, Brearley Avenue, Rhodes Place, Oldbrook Boulevard (and vice versa)
18th December 2020 • Market Place, Olney (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via High Street, East Street (and vice versa)
• Filgrave to Gayhurst Road, Tyringham (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via A509, Chicheley Hill, B526 (and vice versa)
• Kellan Drive, Fishermead (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Fishermead Boulevard, Marlborough Street and Chaffron Way (and vice versa)
• Tavistock Street, Bletchley (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via North Street, Western Road, Victoria Road (and vice versa)
• Denbigh Hall Drive, Bletchley (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Whaddon Way, Shenley Road and Standing Way (and vice versa)
• Masefield Grove, Bletchley (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Burns Road, Cottingham Grove and Buckingham Road (and vice versa)
TAKE NOTICE that works are for Drop Curb works, it is necessary to introduce a road closure in order for the works to be carried out.
The following lengths of road will be closed on the following Dates and Times:
14th December 2020 – 16th December 2020 • Bessemer Court, Blakelands at its junction with Wedgewood Avenue (Between 8:30am and 4:00pm)
Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Bessemer Court, Minton Close and Wedgewood Avenue (and vice versa)
The above roads are scheduled to be closed only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
Access to affected properties will be granted where possible. All other provisions of the Order remain as previously notified on 5th March 2020.
