Refreshments will be provided for everyone immediately after the Ceremony in The Hamlet Court Hotel Johnstownbridge. Traffic Stewards will be required on the day and anybody wishing to volunteer please contact the Parish Office. Sponsorship There are approx. 15 church pews plus various other items remaining for sponsorship (e.g. sanctuary lamp, altar furniture, statues etc - list available on request). Please contact Fr. Fitzpatrick or any member of the Parish Finance Committee if you are interested in sponsoring any church items or if you wish to make any contribution towards the cost of the renovation project. The suggested cost of sponsoring a pew is €400 including memorial plaque. I would like to thanks you for your ongoing generosity and support. Fr. The Quiet Revolution of Pope Francis Fr Gerry O’Hanlon SJ will give a talk on his book “The Quiet Revolution of Pope Francis – A synodial Catholic Church in Ireland?” on Tuesday 19th February at 7.45pm in Leighlinbridge Parish Centre. Fr O’Hanlon has written extensively on Church reform and the role of the Church in the public square. Bishop Denis will be in attendance for what will be an interesting opportunity to gain an insight into a vital change for the Church. All are welcome.
