Thailand Screening for the promising fungal strains of M. anisopliae from the C. medinalis cadavers collected W Pongprasert from the rice paddy field in lower northern Thailand for controlling C. medinalis was carried out. A total Department of Agricultural of 27 C. medinalis cadavers infected by M. anisopliae were obtained from 11 survey locations in 5 Science, Faculty of Agriculture provinces of lower northern Thailand. The pathogenicity screening found that three isolates of M. natural resources and anisopliae (MPC03, MST01 and MPL02) were highly efficient in controlling C. medinalis at 100% Environment, Naresuan mortality 6 days after application with LT50 at 3.01-3.23 days. The efficacy test revealed that those three University, Phitsanulok, isolates caused 100% mortality on C. medinalis 7 days after application. The larvae folds up the rice leaf from the rim, lives and scraps the leaf inside, leaving only the wax layer of rice leaf, thereby, causing white stripes on the damaged leaf and resulting in the reduction of photosynthetic ability and rice disease infection [3]. -

Performance of the Beef Cattle Cooperative in the Land Reform: A Case of Pang Sila Thong Cooperative, Thailand. International Journal of Agricultural Technology 12(7.1):1589-1598. In Thailand, beef cattle farming was dominated by small-scale farming within adequate capital and land resulting in farmer cannot implement self-sufficiency system. Thus, creating a network in the form of beef cattle cooperative is an important strategic to enhance a competitiveness of beef cattle raising in Thailand. In this regards, Pang Sila Thong (PST), an outstanding beef cattle cooperative established in June 2003, consisted of 11 small-scale farmers in land reform. The member of farmers continuously increased to 279 members and seven staff in 2015. A good cooperative system can be useful for the beef cattle farming. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the characteristics of PST beef cattle cooperative, and to find out determinants of cooperative financial performance. Data were collect from cooperative financial report. The analytical techniques employed in this study included descriptive statistics, and financial aggregates analyzed. The results revealed that the total capital of the cooperative was 42.26 million Thai Baht (THB). -

Because of the lack a feeling of importance of groundwater, especially, in the late 20th century, groundwater has been significantly damaged by human activities, resulting in groundwater issues, such as land subsidence, seawater intrusion, and groundwater pollution by toxic substances, that have become remarkable problems in everywhere in the world. The countries in the East and Southeast Asia have been also faced the many groundwater problems which are needed international cooperation to be solved. Since the establishment of the organization in 1966, geological and geophysical surveys have been carried out by the CCOP under the cooperative schemes in the East and Southeast Asia for offshore natural resources. These data have been distributed to member countries as printed maps and publications. As for a groundwater project, “Groundwater database in East and Southeast Asia͇had been compiled under the DCGM Phase IV project of CCOP from 2001 to 2004. The following project, named “Groundwater Assessment and Control in the CCOP Region by CCOP-GSJ/AIST Groundwater project” from 2005 to 2008, had been started from a point of view of finding a solution of issues on an exploration and an exploitation of a groundwater resource. -

The province is located on the lower edge of the northern region, 427 kilometres north of Bangkok, and covers some 6,596 square kilometres. Established in around 1237-1257, Sukhothai literally means “Dawn of Happiness.” Phokhun Si Intharathit was the founder of the Phra Ruang Dynasty, Sukhothai’s !rst Dynasty. For 120 years as the capital of Thailand, Sukhothai was ruled by many kings. In this connection, the most dynamic monarch being King Ramkhamhaeng the Great, who created the Thai alphabet, laid the foundation for politics, monarchy, and religion, as well as, expanded its boundary of in"uence. Though the golden era of Sukhothai no more existed, tourists should bear in mind that respect and admiration for the renowned ruined twin cities of Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai is valued. Leong-Škorničková1, S. Soonthornkalump2, W. Thongbai3 Key words Abstract Four new Curcuma species (Zingiberaceae) from Thailand are described here. Curcuma fimbriata, C. mi- crantha and C. spathulata belong to C. subg. Hitcheniopsis, while C. globulifera belongs to the nominal C. subg. Curcuma globulifera Curcuma. Each species is compared to the morphologically closest species and detailed descriptions, colour plates Curcuma fimbriata and information on their distribution, ecology, phenology and uses are provided. Flood is the most fatal and frequent in Thailand, where people are affected annually. In 2011, Thailand has experienced the worst flood, which makes the floods one of the top five significant natural disaster events in modern history. Therefore, the flood hazard assessment is a fundamental pre-requisite for flood risk assessment. In this study, the combination of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) based on Chang’s extent analysis (Chang, 1996) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) were used to assess flood hazard by comparison the elevation effects between from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission Digital Elevation Model (SRTM DEM) and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). The study area is “Bang Rakam Model 60” project. -
