ORDER:

In view of the dynamic nature of Corona virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) spread in the country and the State, Government have decided to expand the Technical Advisory Committee to review the evolving situation on a day-to-day basis and advise the Government on measures to be implemented to prevent, contain, control and effectively manage COVID-19, with the following professionals:

2. The Technical Committee is mandated to examine and review the guidelines /protocols on COVID 19 issued from time-to-time by the World Health Organization (WHO), Government of India (GOI), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), other International Organizations of repute, and adapt them and recommend appropriate measures to Government of Andhra Pradesh. The committee should establish technical know-how flow from AIIMS New Delhi and CMC Hospital Vellore in this direction.

3. The Director of Medical Education (DME) shall convene meeting of the Committee every day without fail and submit the minutes of the committee meeting to the Special Chief Secretary, Health Medical and Family Welfare Department.

4. A sub-committee comprising of Dr Venkatesh DME, Dr Chandrasekhar Reddy, Dr BS Siva Reddy and Dr PV Ramesh, will monitor, review and update all circular instructions and technical advisories that would be issued by the Government for adherence by the public and private hospital establishments providing care for COVID-19.

5. The Director of Health, Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Commissioner APVVP, CEO Arogya Sri, MD APMSIDC, District Collectors, DMHOs, DCHS, Superintendents / Principals of Medical Colleges, Nodal Officers and all other officials are hereby instructed to consult this sub-committee on all matters associated with medical and technical aspects of COVID management and obtain concurrence before issuance of directives.
