Chawla, Secretary of the Rajghat Committee The President and the First Lady went to the Memorial, They were accompanied by: Cyrus R. Vance, Secretary of State Peter Sinai, Chief of Protocol of India Mr. Fernandes Mrs. Iagat Singh Mehta, wife of the Foreign Secretary of India Mr. Acharya Mr. Tyagi Mr. Chawla The President and the First Lady placed a wreath at the Memorial.
