SGA Chaplain: Rod McCallum The SGA chaplain serves in several different capacities. First, the chaplain provides spiritual encouragement in the form of devotions and prayer at the weekly student senate meetings. Second, the chaplain works closely with the Spiritual Life Office as a representa- tive of the student body. In this capacity, the chaplain serves on the Spiritual Life Committee. Third, the chaplain has the opportunity to plan a total of three chapel services throughout the school year. The office of SGA Chaplain provides a great opportunity to encourage the spiritual growth of the Houghton College community while gaining experience in several YOUR different areas of ministry.
