As a student at UC Berkeley, Moultrie majored in Art History because, being aesthetically inclined, she was always attracted to beauty. Moultrie continued her study of Art History in Paris, studying at the Universite de la Sorbonne for a year. Later, she ran an art gallery in San Francisco and worked at Christie’s auction house in Beverly Hills and Manhattan. Eventually, she realized that while she would always appreciate working with fine art, she was an artist herself and wanted to create art of her own. Serendipity stepped in when Moultrie experienced something that would change her life: she had the unique opportunity to watch Francesca Tolot (still one of her favorite makeup artists) and Topolino apply makeup, and she was instantly hooked. Moultrie says she became addicted to the feeling that she got when she made a woman feel and look beautiful, “I love the inner and outer transformative quality that makeup possesses. Makeup, to me, is like jewelry, it makes me giddy! I get almost as excited about glitter as I do about diamonds and rubies! I love to extract the natural beauty from a woman; to find the beautiful quality in her and pull it forward, as opposed to obliterating it with heavy foundation and starting over.” 5 Moultrie has had the great pleasure of transforming great beauties such as Alicia Keys, Naomi Campbell, Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, America Fererra, Christina Milian, Laila Ali, and Ciara. She has also groomed men such as Prince, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Jay-Z, P- Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, John Legend, Kobe Bryant, Clive Davis and Will Smith, just to name a few. Her work has been published in magazines such as Vanity Fair, Essence, InStyle Weddings, Interview, Rolling Stone, and W. Moultrie plays an integral part in the hip-hop music movement; she is regularly hired by directors such as Hype Williams, Chris Robinson, and Dave Meyers. She has also worked with Sanaa Hamri, Jesse Terrero, Justin Francis, Maleek Sayeed, Jake Nava, Paul Hunter, and Bryan Singer on many music videos and commercials. She has worked with great photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Matthew Rolston, Kwaku Alston, and Sheryl Nields. Moultrie resides in Los Angeles. She enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, Bikram yoga, bike riding, tennis, and snow boarding. Moultrie plans to launch a makeup line so women of color will no longer “have to mix two, sometimes three foundations in order to match their skin tone.” 6 .

Celebrity News: Tamera Mowry Says Quarantine Tested Her Marriage to Adam Housley By Nicole Maher In the latest celebrity news, Tamera Mowry revealed that being quarantined with her husband Adam Housley tested their marriage. According to UsMagazine.com, Mowry described both herself and her husband as workaholics, and said that being home together constantly was a change to which they needed to adapt. The celebrity couple tied the knot in May of 2011, and share two children together. In celebrity news, Tamera Mowry is opening up about the test she and her husband are going through due to COVID-19. What are some ways to cope with being quarantined with your partner? Cupid’s Advice: Quarantine has proved as a relationship test for even the strongest of couples. While you may love your partner endlessly, being confined to one home for months on end can test your relationship. If you are looking for some ways to cope with being quarantined with your partner, Cupid has some advice for you: 1. Allow for some alone time: Just because you and your partner are in the same house does not mean you have to be together the entire time. As quarantine progresses, you may feel the need to have some time apart. Taking a few hours every day or so to relax or sit on your own can help prevent any frustrations or tensions you may be feeling with your partner. If possible, safely getting some alone time by going for a walk or drive is also a good option. Related Link: Celebrity Vacation: Maren Morris Celebrates Ryan Hurd’s Birthday with Romantic Getaway 2.

The multi-camera, scripted half-hour series features Mowry-Hardrict as Stephanie, a party girl who trades in Cosmos for carpools when she marries Charlie (Michael Boatman, Spin City), who already has three kids. Airing regularly on Nick at Nite Sundays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), the series also will air on the adult-targeted NickMom comedy block on the Nick Jr. channel at 10p.m. (Photo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20130905/NY74999 ) "In Instant Mom, Tia vividly captures what it's like to jump into motherhood with nearly zero experience, and her stepchildren take a front row in her labors," said Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production. "Their comedic and authentic approach to their disparities as a new family will make audiences fall in love with the growing and heartfelt appreciation for each other and for the all-embracing blended family they are now a part of." Instant Mom follows Stephanie as she struggles to maintain some sense of her fun-loving, slightly irresponsible life while managing being a full-time stepmom.

Hayashi State of Hawaii Board of Education Chairperson Catherine Payne Members of the State of Hawaii Board of Education Hawaii Governor David Y. Ige From: Concerned educators of Hawaii’s public schools Subject: The Safety Our Students Deserve The first weeks of the 2021–22 school year have been incredibly alarming as COVID-19 case counts skyrocket to record levels. Health and safety guidelines, including proper masking and social distancing, go unenforced in our schools. Reporting and notification remain inconsistent. A lack of personal protective equipment, improper ventilation, and other outstanding issues are not being addressed. We are seeing frequent failures to adhere to guidance with no support regarding COVID-19 response in our schools. This ultimately hurts the education we all believe is essential for our keiki. During the 2020–21 school year, the Hawaii State Teachers Association (HSTA) and the Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) agreed to modify the HSTA collective bargaining agreement to ensure safer practices in the workplace in light of the COVID-19 pandemic in the form of a memorandum of understanding (MOU). However, this MOU expired on June 30, 2021, and the state refused to bargain a renewal and update of the MOU for the 2021–22 school year.

In The Thicke Of It Abstract If you’ve been anywhere near your Facebook newsfeed in the last few days, you’re probably familiar with the most recent images of Miley Cyrus at her less-than-graceful VMA performance. From CNN’s front page headline, “What Was Miley Thinking?” to Buzzfeed’s gifset of a cartoon Cyrus twerking on famous paintings, her antics have, for better or for worse, become a hyper-inflated mega-sensation that I, frankly, don’t care about at all. I’m not going to talk about Miley anymore. Instead, let’s talk about her co-performer, Robin Thicke.
