Elmhurst @ Carthage, 1 p.m. He pitched a complete game during a 7-0 victory over North Park on April 11, allowing just three singles while walking none and striking out three. He also Recent Scores picked off three base runners at first. Rohe also went six innings in a 15-5 win over Illinois Wesleyan on April 15, allowing three earned runs and striking out April 18 two. Rockford 20, Elmhurst 10 Chicago 12, North Central 7 Millikin 4, Robert Morris 3 CCIW news Illinois Wesleyan 10, Benedictine 9 Augustana moved into a three-way tie for fourth place after taking two of Augustana 7, Knox 2 three in a weekend series against North Park. Jeremy Juhl (Lombard, Ill./ Glenbard East) finished 2-for-3 with a run and RBI in a 13-3 win over North April 17 Park on Sunday to win the series. April 15 Elmhurst 11, North Central 3 Carthage set a new school record during a 4-3 win in the second game of a Carthage 15, Illinois Wesleyan 5 double header on April 17. The game went 17 innings, breaking the old record Augustana 13, North Park 3 of 16 on May 11, 2001 against Augustana in the CCIW tournament. In the Marian game, over 500 pitches were thrown with a combined 43 players seeing April 14 action. Wheaton 2, Millikin 0 Wheaton 5, Millikin 0 Elmhurst swept a three-game weekend series with North Central to move into Augustana 12, North Park 5 a tie with Illinois Wesleyan for second place in the CCIW. Dave Wolak (Carol North Park 9, Augustana 5 Elmhurst 3, North Central 2 Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) helped the Bluejays pick up the sweep in the Elmhurst 5, North Central 3 third game of Sunday’s 11-3 win as he finished 4-for-5 with three runs, two RBI Carthage 10, Illinois Wesleyan 0 and a home run. Dave Parr (Cary, Ill./Marian Central Catholic) pitched Illinois Wesleyan 3, Carthage 2 seven innings and struck out four. Steve Hlavac (Naperville, Ill./North) and Zac Pacanowski (Plainfield, Ill./North) each finished 2-for-3 for North April 13 Central. Wheaton 12, Millikin 2 Millikin picked up a 4-3, non-conference win over Robert Morris-Springfield on April 12 April 18. Dan Weber (St. Louis, Mo./Lutheran South) finished 3-for-4 with Carthage 12, Concordia (Wis.) 7 an RBI in the game while Evan West (Decatur, Ill./Meridian) picked up the April 11 pitching win in relief.
