Syrian Arab Republic: 2016 UN Inter-Agency Humanitarian Operations (as of 11 May 2016) Since the beginning of 2016, the UN and partners successfully delivered multi-sectoral assistance through inter-agency operations, reaching over 781,000 civilians in besieged, hard-to-reach and other priority crossline locations with dire humanitarian needs. Many of these people were reached more than once. A total of 43 UN inter-agency convoys have been undertaken, reaching over 669,000 people. UNRWA has also delivered 25 convoys with multi-sectoral assistance to 19,000 people in YBB*, including thousands of residents in and from Yarmouk. In addition, through 29 WFP-led airdrops, 479 metric tons of food supplies have been delivered to besieged parts of western Deir-ez Zor city.
