CFASPP Continuing Florida Aviation System Planning Process ________________________________________________________________________________________________ STATEWIDE STEERING COMMITTEE CHIP SEYMOUR, CHAIR July 1, 2008 Dear Committee Members, Advisors, and Participants: Subject: Statewide CFASPP Committee Meeting Date/Time: Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM Location: The Breakers Hotel, Mediterranean Room It’s hard to believe that it is once again July in Florida. The summertime heat is upon us and it’s nearly time to make our way down to Palm Beach for what promises to be another memorable FAC Annual Conference. I hope that you will take the opportunity to arrive at the Breakers Hotel in time to join us for the Statewide CFASPP Steering Committee Meeting. During the recently completed round of regional meetings, CFASPP members and participants discussed a number of issues that are affecting airports around the State. We learned that airport sponsors continue to face a growing list of challenges in the everyday operation of their facilities. Long range planning activities continue to be complicated by ever shrinking budgets and other economic uncertainties. Some of the topics discussed during the Round have been referred to the Statewide Committee for consideration or discussion and they will be covered at this meeting. The Round 2008-2 Statewide Meeting will be held in the Mediterranean Room at the Breakers Hotel on Saturday, July 19, 2008 beginning at 1:00 p.m. As always, you can find meeting schedules, handout material and other program information on our website at www.cfaspp.com. Please make plans to join us at the meeting in Palm Beach and participate in the discussion of issues affecting aviation in Florida.
