REVISED: April 2010 to reformat POR and to include additional input from the QCSS group including requirements for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, acoustics, security and fire protection and to clearly delineate what is in the construction contract and what is in FF&E and other contracts. REVISED: May 2009 to include program changes and additions. Prepared by the Department of Public Libraries and the Division of Building Design and Construction of the Department of General Services as a result of five public meetings held with the Silver Spring community in the late summer and early fall of 2008 as part of the Master Planning process. Additions and changes were recommended by the County Executive and approved by the Health and Human Services Committee of the Montgomery County Council. REVISED: September 2005 to include DPWT review comments. REVISED: February 2005 to exclude Mobile Services (moving to Davis Library in space formerly occupied by the Special Needs Library.
