Schedule: The Academy operates on an alternating A Day/B Day block schedule. Classes are 88-minutes in length. Academy students take 45 credits per year (9 classes). The Academy school day begins at 7:18 AM and ends at 3:02 PM.

Graduation Requirements: Academy students are required to complete 170 credits in order to graduate, 50 credits more than the 120 minimum credit requirement for a New Jersey diploma.

Students can participate in 28 varsity sport programs, over 50 clubs and activities, and 9 honor both at Morris Hills High School.

Articulation Agreements for Credit

Through an articulation agreement between the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and the Morris County Vocational School District, students have the opportunity to earn NJIT credit for certain Academy courses, provided students have achieved a grade of 80 or better. Upon graduation, students receive an NJIT transcript listing credits earned through this program.
