Dear Andrew

I am the owner of .

You are aware that Bunya Mountains National Park was placed on the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage Listing in 2010 and I have made many requests for further information from your office as to why you are opposed to Bunya Mountains National Park being progressed to be World Heritage Listed.

My feeling is that your office is being influenced by powerful members of the Liberal/National Party who have a vested financial interest in Bunya Mountains National Park not being World Heritage Listed. I am of the opinion that such people are lobbying you personally with regards to not progressing Bunya Mountains National Park to World Heritage status despite the fact that 84% of people in the Toowoomba and recently polled this year want Bunya Mountains National Park to be World Heritage Listed.

I have been advised that a road is being constructed through , Bunya Mountains on Vegetation Management Act classified "Endangered" and "Of Concern" Regional Ecosystems being Regional Ecosystem 12.8.15 "Poa labillardierei var. labillardierei grassland on Cainozoic igneous rocks" and "Araucarian complex microphyll vine forest on Cainozoic igneous rocks" being Regional Ecosystem 12.8.13. I have received no paperwork regarding development applications. My tenant at made me aware that surveying has been carried out. Why have I not received information about this?

The owners of the land behind Lots Tolmie Street which is also behind Lots Bunya Mountains Road belongs to Cresthall Pty Ltd - the Bjlke-Petersen family which includes Lady Flo Bjlke-Petersen and the children of former Premier Sir Joh Bjlke-Petersen including John Bjlke-Petersen and Dr Meg Noack wife of the Reverend Noel Noack.

I strongly oppose any road being constructed through Regional Ecosystem 12.8.15 and Regional Ecosystem 12.8.13. If this happens, that are 100 years plus in age will die. They could also fall onto surrounding dwellings when their roots are compromised. Similarly, the Poa grassland is endangered and protected by law.

. It is preferred that a road be constructed through here with a high fence in keeping with the historical significance of my house be constructed to divide and the constructed road. There is absolutely no need to destroy "Endangered" and "Of Concern" Regional Ecosystems.

My lot will need to be properly surveyed for the construction of the road as pegs are missing from when Cresthall Pty Ltd had my land surveyed prior to me purchasing the land. The pegs were not there when the contract settled. I have written emails to the owners of Bunya Mountains Road but have received no reply.

I also require information about what development is planned for the land behind Lots Tolmie Street which is also behind Lots Bunya Mountains Road belongs to Cresthall Pty Ltd.

Again, why have I not received any information about this road?

I have written to WDRC asking that this matter be directed to the WDRC Governance Manager as well as their planning division. I am aware that Mayor Ray Brown stood for pre-selection for the Liberal-National Party which holds the Bjlke-Petersen family in high esteem. Land owners surrounding the planned development of road and/or building/s in the vicinity of Tolmie Street and Bunya Mountains Road should have been advised and invited to make comment. Why did this not occur?

I have been in communication with owners and the accommodation centre at Bunya Mounatins and no owners at Bunya Mountains have been advised of this new road/proposed development by Cresthall Pty Ltd on Vegetation Management Act classified "Endangered" and "Of Concern" Regional Ecosystems being Regional Ecosystem 12.8.15 "Poa labillardierei var. labillardierei grassland on Cainozoic igneous rocks" and "Araucarian complex microphyll vine forest on Cainozoic igneous rocks" being Regional Ecosystem 12.8.13.

I will also be directing my concerns to Minister for Natural Resources and Mines.
