❖ A Mouse is an that is used to give instructions to the CPU. ❖ Like a real mouse it has a body and a long tail. ❖ It is small in size and has a tail which is attached to CPU. ❖ It helps us to point and select an item on the monitor. ❖ It is also used to type text, draw pictures, listen to music, watch videos, play , etc. MOUSE BUTTONS ❖ A Mouse has two or three buttons on it. ❖ The on the right side is called the right . ❖ The button on the left side is called the left mouse button. ❖ They are used for left and right click. HOW TO HOLD A MOUSE ❖ Keep the mouse on the mouse pad. ❖ Place your palm on the mouse, hold it with your thumb and last two fingers. ❖ Place your index figure on the left button and your middle figure on the right button. TYPES OF MOUSE 1. Two Button Mouse 2. Three Button Mouse 3. Scroll Mouse

MOUSE MANNERS ❖ Hold the mouse gently to move it over a mouse pad. ❖ Always use the mouse on the mouse pad.
