! Wessex Branch Auction 2016 ends Saturday 2nd April 2016 at 12 noon

48 Lots many of which are new including another opportunity to experience The Great Dorset Grand Slam

Last year our Wessex Branch Fundraising Auction was very well supported and just over £5100 was raised. We hope the various Lots in this year’s catalogue, many of which are new donations will equally excite and encourage our members and friends to bid for fishing days on Club waters, at Fisheries and on exclusive private waters in our area. Also, some members who are recognised for the quality of their hand tied fly patterns have donated selections which are bound to interest. Others may wish to bid for guided sea fishing opportunities in search of Bass and other species in the company of our own local experts.

As before, we invite postal and email bids for all Lots in this catalogue. These have been generously donated to raise funds for Wessex Branch and our ongoing contribution to National S&TC UK initiatives. We much appreciate the support of all our donors and the generosity of our bidders.

Rules

Bids must be in writing to the Auctioneer. Please fill in the printable bidding form at the end of this catalogue and post it to the Auctioneer. Alternatively for speed and efficiency bids may be sent by e-mail to [email protected].

Bids must reach the Auctioneer at the given address by no later than 12.00 noon on Saturday 2nd April 2016, at which time the Auction ends and no further bids will be accepted. Receipt of individual bids cannot be acknowledged.

The Auctioneer will keep all bids confidential throughout the Auction and ensure fair play.

The highest of all bids received for each lot by the close of Auction will be the one accepted. In the event of there being two or more identical highest bids for the same lot, the highest bid received first will be the winning bid. Notification letters will be sent out in April to the successful bidders requesting settlement by return.

If payment for any Lot is not received within seven days of notification then the Lot is forfeit and it will be offered to the second highest bidder.

Fishing must be taken during the 2016 season.

Guide prices are only an indication Although some lots regularly fetch more than twice their guide price, this is not always the case and some excellent value fishing is secured each year. Considering that much of the fishing offered is not generally available to the public, it is a rare opportunity to visit some very special fishing destinations. Please be generous in your bidding and good luck to you all. We extend a very big “thank you” to all who have supported Wessex Branch and generously made donations for the Auction.

Some Lots have reserve prices printed in the catalogue below which these lots cannot be sold.
