2017-02-03 11:45 CET Depeche Mode släpper singeln “Where’s The Revolution” idag Idag släpper Depeche Mode nya singeln “Where’s The Revolution” – ett första smakprov på albumet “Spirit” som släpps den 17 mars. På sitt 14e studioalbum samarbetar Depeche Mode med producenten James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Foals, Florence & The Machine, Arctic Monkeys). “Spirit” släpps; digitalt, som standard-CD samt en 2-CD Deluxeversion innehållande en 28-sidig booklet med exklusiva bilder och fem remixer som går under namnet “Jungle Spirit Mixes", gjorda av Depeche Mode, Matrixxman och Kurt Uenala. Albumet som är uppföljaren till 2013 års album “Delta Machine” släpps även på vinyl, i form av två 180 gram LP:s innehållande standardversionen av albumet och SPIRIT etsat på en sida. Albumomslag samt bilder är framtagna av Depeche Modes kreativa partner Anton Corbijn. Dave Gahan om det nya albumet “Spirit”: "We are exceptionally proud of Spirit, and we look forward to sharing it with everyone. With James Ford and the rest of the production team, we've made an album that I believe is truly powerful, both in its sound and its message." I am excited you are here and pray the next several weeks will enable you to walk through a door – a door into a new, very alive, very powerful transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. The church is in deep trouble today. It is like we are sitting on top of an iceberg that is melting, but we reluctant to make the needed changes. Millions of dollars have been spent to analyze the complexity and trends of what is happening in the church today. Here is what we know: • The total number of people who identify themselves as evangelical Christians w/ • personal relationship with Jesus is declining rapidly. • The broader culture of the USA is becoming more opposed to the values of Scripture more quickly than most of us realize. • An estimated 8 out of 10 youth from Christian homes walk away from their faith by age 23. • In most congregations, ages eighteen to twenty-nine are the black hole of church attendance. This age group is “missing in action” • Only one out of four American Christians study the Bible regularly to find • direction for their lives (Gallup, 2003). The list actually goes on, but I think you get the point. The iceberg of church life as we know it is melting. That is no longer in doubt. August/September/October 2020 The Real Meaning of Grief By Kimberly A. Smith Grief is a constant which is sometimes a whisper and at other times a marching band. It is quieter at work and louder when driving alone. It comes and goes and then welcomes itself back again. It shows up in movies, phrases people say, the sunrise and sunset, passing a golf course, seeing others in love, boarding a plane, enjoying a favorite beverage - basically almost every moment one can imagine. Grief will pop in and say, “Hey! Doesn’t that re- mind you when he / she ...” or, “Hey! Didn’t you love when he / she ...” It’s like a little kid who constantly taps you on the shoulder wanting something - simply never ending. Sometimes you get the strength to lead the way. Most of Grief is also a passageway - a long tunnel that twists the time you take one step and pray that it won’t be much and turns when you don’t expect it. You know that there is longer. an eventual end but you have no clue where it is. You want This is not new or normal. It’s a complex twisted messy out but you know it’s not possible to escape. You can see experience, and unfortunately grief likes being that way - cracks of sunlight and sometimes fresh water seeps in that it’s never going to change. So let’s think of grief as a journey you can drink, but it’s fleeting. Sometimes you feel like you through really tough terrain that hopefully gets a little are going backwards or in circles because there is no map or smoother.

Reportedly though, the video and audio quality were poor; this Twitter webstream has very high bitrate video and well-encoded audio, so despite being 720p I feel that this is likely the superior version.
