MAY CSR to fight COVID: Reconfirming its commitment to support those in need during Covid Pandemic, companies in around Puducherry ramped up its CSR activities by donating medical supplies. 01 While BWDA Group of Institutions, Villupuram, donated 10,000 bottles of 2021 sanitizers, SUHA (Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda Manufacturers Association) of Puducherry handed over Kabasura kudineer, hand wash etc. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan received these supplies that have been donated to the front line workers of Puducherry.

MAY No patient should be denied of admission: Visit to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital for Women and Children, following Press Reports. Inquired the senior medical officers to make sure that no 02 patient is denied medical attention and admission at the hospital for 2021 want of Covid-19 Test reports.

Inaugurated RTPCR: In immediate response to the grievances expressed by the people, especially the pregnant women, who were MAY finding it difficult to get tested for COVID, the Ho’ble Lt. Governor has directed the officials to establish one RTPCR Test Centre on a priority basis. The Hon’ble Lt. Governor inaugurated the same at the Rajiv 03 Gandhi Hospital for Women and Children.attention and admission at the 2021 hospital for want of Covid-19 Test reports.

NDA partners stake claim: Led by Shri. N. Rangasamy, the newly-elected National Democratic Alliance (NDA) legislators met Lt. Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan to stake claim to form the Government in Puducherry and produced the letter of support of 16 legislators before the Lt. Governor.

MAY Homage to legendary folklorist: Paid last respects to the legend Ki Rajanarayanan at Puducherry, a Tamil folklorist & acclaimed 18 writer, Sahitya Akademy Awardee. Huge respect to all his works which 2021 are remarkable. I am deeply saddened for the loss & My most sincere condolences to his family members & friends.

In recognition and respect of his great contribution to Tamil literature, the last respects were paid with full State Honours to the legend of Tamil literature.

Cowin registration: Honoured to launch COVID19 Vaccine Registration portal Co-Win at Raj Nivas Puducherry. Vaccination will be done at free of cost under government’s initiative for all residents of Puducherry of age 18-44 yrs from 20-05-2021.My Appeal to all the eligible’s to register & Vaccinate.

Technology to combat Covid : Happy to share that Health Department of Puducherry had joined hands with Facebook to alert localities once they sign into FaceBook. This platform will help in integrating COVID-19 related alert services for Puducherry Residents through Facebook for widespread awareness on pandemic.

Sputnik V progress review with Dr. Reddy’s 22 Laboratories: Held Video Conference and Congratulated 2021 the Team of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for Sputnik V vaccine import to Hyderabad for supplementing Vaccination Drive in COVID-19 pandemic and appreciate their plans to manufacture it locally soon there by fulfilling the vision of our Hon’ble PMO India Atma Nirbhar Bharat. “COVID-free Villages:” Initiative to promote 100% 27 Vaccination: Announced the plan to initiate a programme titled “Covid-Free Villages” in Puducherry and Karaika so as to promote 2021 and ensure complete vaccination in villages.

Intensified Vaccination at Vaidikuppam: Hon’ble Lt. MAY Governor inaugurated special COVID19 Vaccination camp at Vaidikuppam Village at Puducherry. MAY Pudukuppam Village: Vaccination for All @ 100% : As per the vision of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, Hon’ble Lt. Governor announced the Pudukuppam as Model Village with 100% Vaccination and it is now a COVID-free Village. The total vaccination was organize by 28 the Health Department.
