This is a quick, scientific, practical, graphic guide to the path of Inner strength and ‘GOD’, as prescribed in Hindu dharma. Here, “GOD” is the miraculous, multi-dimensional consciousness, accessed though the path of universal love. It is an evolutionary path from non-awareness to relative awareness, to universal awareness. This booklet is a companion guide to the videos on the website: optimizinglife.org. Anyone can be ‘momentarily happy’ even with drugs and crime. However, in order to attain long-lasting, stable happiness with awareness, we need a macro perspective of unselfishness, courage and love to include all of our environment as a part of our own life. The spontaneous effect of this transition from relative to absolute love is: reduction of brain- mind noise, which leads to stability and clarity of thought, courage, self-confidence, love, health, etc, that originate from our ‘Inner Strength in deeper consciousness’. This is the Dharmic path through Artha and Kama to Moksha (‘Being God’), as discussed in Hindu Scriptures. This booklet is a record of my search for my ‘Inner God’ in my own consciousness. The research started in 1990, with robotics/artificial intelligence, followed by psychology, philosophy, religion and spirituality. I have tried to present the traditional spiritual concepts in the Universal philosophy of Advita Vedanta, in the language of science, to explain the limitless, universal nature of love and our own multi-dimensional field of consciousness, as it relates to all of creation and I also discuss the threat of selfish, narrow perspective that materialism and exclusive, disrespectful, violent religions and institutions impose on us, as they disrupt peace on earth and the very survival of our environment and mother nature. In this discussion, it is assumed that ALL humans are in transition, looking for love, peace and happiness in (or as) God and ALL have equal potential to be ‘GOD’. The violence in this world is because of ignorance and intolerance of individual egos and egos of leaders of exclusive religions. Therefore, an attempt has been made here, to be truthful and not necessarily, politically correct. There are different definitions of God: Angry God, Vengeful God, Fearful God, etc. In Hindu Dharma-tradition, God is the bliss of our own multi-dimensional consciousness, experienced as all-inclusive, absolute love and Inner strength. The path to this God includes all the good, tolerant human qualities. The path of dharma is to manage the pleasures of the body and the excitement of the ego, to reach the blissful happiness of the self/soul or God. In this presentation, we investigate these and other sources of happiness such as: contentment, pride, power, wealth, health, success, sex, fame etc to rationally determine a simple practical formula to access all these sources of happiness. For a presentation on this subject, followed by a discussion, please send an email to: [email protected] I hope the booklets and the videos in the website : Optimizinglife.org will help us open our minds in Love for all of creation, to live a harmonious, happy, peaceful and creative life. It is also my hope that ALL will unite in defending this 12000 year old, unique, all-inclusive, Advita philosophy and culture of universal love in Hinduism, for the brotherhood and survival of our precious world CONTENTS: Inner Strength and the science of Being God ! (6-18): To experience life completely, confidently and successfully in all its diverse creativity, we need an inner strength to participate in life with a macro vision, instead of micro ego-centered view. Anything less than this macro objectivity, makes us unduly dependent on uncontrollable variables and, unhappy in life. To develop a macro view of life is to understand Nature intellectually and experience it intuitively. Rationality and science can help us understand our multi-dimensional creation from our physical dimension as a reasonable probability based on pattern recognition, instead of just an emotional personal opinion of an experience. Absolute love and courage gives us the presence of mind and an awareness to experience our higher consciousness as a multi-dimensional universe. Dharma as an application of Science of consciousness (19-25): The goal of Dharma is to understand our own life and consciousness as an integral part of our environment. Once we understand layers of our own consciousness as it relates to our environment, we optimize our dharmic life through presence of mind and through both intuitive and conscious pattern recognition. This practice starts with a dharma mantra, since dharma mantra and not just rationality, is the firewall of conscious mind for random thoughts. Collective and individual rituals are the anti-virus of the subconscious and the collective consciousness. A Moksha mantra can connect us to a higher, common- consciousness through absolute love. Karma-yoga is a way of life that re-programs our body-brain-mind to implement dharma-mantra as an unselfish philosophy of life, that includes personal, local, national, global and universal responsibilities. Dharma and the Modern world (26-33). The modern world culture is in evolution. At present the focus is on short term selfish material happiness at the expense of peaceful coexistence and the environment. Men are trying to come out of caves but they are still fighting ! Environment and Dharma are under the threat of violent narrow minded religions and cultures, that compete for natural resources, wealth and power, in self-interest. Dharma is based on the concept of life as creative and collective expression of universal consciousness as love, compassion and cooperation. This has been practiced as a culture for several thousands of years successfully in India. Most non-dharmic religions fail to understand the concept of life as a network of collective consciousness. This idea is now accepted by western science with theories and experiments. However, the religions of the west are far behind their science as they are bound in blind faith to intolerant rules out of ‘fear of god’ as a cult, instead of love of god to accommodate diversity in nature. Unfortunately, their fear of god is expressed as devil, anger and intolerance. A label that is freely used for all diversity. In a short span of 500 years, this anger has resulted in world wide unrest, colonialism, destruction of environment and peace. They look at love and peaceful-ness as a weakness and even mediocrity and they have historically destroyed peaceful cultures, religions and superior civilizations, as ‘a commandment’ from their violent, intolerant ‘god’. They continue to do so even today (ref: joshuaproject.net) Defending Dharma (34-40): In Dharma tradition, there is no Devil or fear of god. Love is god and the cause of evil is ignorance that is cured through love and knowledge. The Dharmic path is an evolution in all aspects of nature, from limited awareness (tamas) to, selfish awareness (rajas) and then on to, unselfish awareness (satva). This is an observable fact of nature. History also tells us that some intolerant religions cannot live in harmony with the diversity in nature. As the oldest and the most peaceful surviving culture in the world, Hinduism is under attack by these aggressive religions. Educating the world regarding peaceful coexistence with diversity in creation, has been the tradition of Hinduism for millennia. This is now the responsibility of youth as Intellectual Kshatriyas, for the survival of Hinduism and the world. This presentation reintroduces the vision and energy/force or Shakti behind this multi-layered message of Swami Vivekananda and Vedanta in the creation, just as relative love is the force of creativity modern context. When Swami Vivekananda stated in this physical dimension. This is the binding force that we need to wakeup Hinduism/Bharat in order to of love of creation and sustenance in the physical wakeup the world, he spoke from the point of view dimension as experienced by animate life. This love of Dharma. A concept that is absent in the modern is also the origin of systemic and integral unity in world except for the Dharmic traditions such as creation. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism and a few Since the foundation of individual identity is other nature oriented religions. Dharma is the relative consciousness, it can be a path to non- nature of both animate and in animate things from relative or absolute or universal consciousness or the macro view of the Universe. For example the ‘God’. Through this personal experience of love in dharma of inanimate things is the science of physics. life, we understand creation, nature and ourselves The dharma of life includes dynamic consciousness, from a macro perspective. This is the ultimate sense perception and thought processes. These source of Inner strength or Being ‘God’. In this ‘nature of things’ appear to be different at the presentation we discuss inner strength or the surface but they have common patterns and they process of ‘man-making’ as Swami Vivekananda are made of a common bond of multi-layered called it. Swami Vivekananda was a rare sanyasi consciousness. This is explained from the elemental who promoted spirituality through love and selfless perspective by both quantum mechanics and string service for sanyasis instead of the usual complete theory.
