[email protected] Defending NAIA national champion Saint Francis (IN) and the team it defeated in the title game, Baker, dominate the College Football America 2017 Yearbook NAIA Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of an All- America team. Baker, hoping to make a return trip to the title game after last year’s 38-17 defeat to Saint Francis (IN), has four players on the Starting Lineup. Quarterback Logan Brettell was the triggerman for a Wildcats offense that was No. 1 in passing offense in 2016. Brettell threw for 5,073 yards and 52 touchdowns in 15 games. Two of his best targets return for 2017. Wide receiver/running back Cornell Brown rushed for 1,418 yards and scored 24 touchdowns, while leading the Wildcats with 95 receptions, including 851 yards and 7 touchdowns. Wide receiver Clarence Clark led the team had 73 receptions for 1,061 yards and 8 touchdowns, and is one of NAIA’s top returning wide receivers. On defense, Josh Kock made the squad as a defensive lineman after a 2016 with 11.5 sacks, 17 tackles for loss and 72 total tackles. Saint Francis (IN) won its first national title last year and returns three key members of that team. Running back Justin Green rushed for 1,367 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2016. Defensively, linebacker Piercen Harnish led the Cougars with 130 tackles, including 3 sacks and an interception.
