1. Call to Order • The meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. Chaired by Lenny. L with quorum. • Lenny L declares a conflict of interest with respect to the Taste of Little Italy + Chin Picnic • Lenny L reminded the directors mutual respect in meetings

• Events – Lenny P • Taste of Little Italy • Programming: • Board reviewed proposals submitted by potential programmers • Motion to hire St. Royal for the Taste of Little Italy - Passed i. Motioned by Sam ii. Seconded by Maria iii. ACTION ITEM: Meghan to schedule meeting with St. royal for this week • Lenny L announced to the board due to his conflict, he will refrain from voting on issues relating to programming i. Jeff suggested we send a letter to our members inviting them to sponsor an act on the stage, with approval from the Board. St. Royal will execute this. ii. ACTION ITEM: Jeff to call Clinton school choir to perform on main stage

• Summer Music Series • Subcommittee suggests the following: • June 22 – September 14 (13 weekends, 2 days/weekend) i. 3 performance locations per day, 3 bands (solo, duo and trios) per day, 45 minute sets, approx. 4 hours

• Marketing – Anita • Update on TOLI Marketing • Anita updated the board on creative and that all advertising deadlines are being met • Update on Pedestrian Pole Banners i. Banners to be installed on every pole – waiting for quote from Ready Set Print regarding hardware • ACTION ITEM: Jeff to send info regarding welcome tent with logo as potential option for welcome pathway

• Marketing will launch a social media contest around TOLI • Photo station at College and Grace during TOLI • Last page of the CHIN magazine ad is reserved for summer music series

• Strategic Planning & Streetscape – Gordon • Flower baskets for all pedestrian poles have been ordered • Flowers for Johnny Lombardi Piazza have been ordered • Subcommittee meeting to be scheduled • Mural at Sicilian to be completed this month

7. New Business • Maria invited board to 60th Anniversary at Sicilian • CHIN Radio/Johnny Lombardi is being honoured by national congress of Italian with a bronzed plaque at Johnny Lombardi Piazza commemorating the creation of multicultural broadcasting in .
