YOUNG JOINS THREE 30-AND-OVERS IN SEMI-FINALS

SEMI-FINALS PREVIEW: American is the only semi-finalist under the age of 30 in action on Saturday at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. It also marks the ninth straight year an American is in the semi-finals at the Newport Casino (11th of last 12 years).

Opening play on stadium a court is just the second meeting between the 26-year-old Young and 33-year-old Gilles Muller. Both players are looking to capture their first career ATP World Tour title. The last first-time winner at Newport was in 2009 (d. Querrey).

Following, the 31-year-old brings a 3-1 head-to-head advantage over the 37- year-old Ivo Karlovic. Karlovic is trying to become the second player in tournament history to reach three straight finals (Hewitt 2012-14).
