Reports to: VP, Strategic Initiatives-Council Staff Summary: Reserve Ranger Program Coordinator serves as part of the comprehensive Reserve Ranger program established for long term sustainability of council owned camp properties. Reserve Ranger Program Coordinator provides leadership and coordination of the reserve rangers including the Reserve Ranger Maintenance Coordinator and Reserve Ranger Fundraising Coordinator. Benefits: The individual who fills this volunteer position will gain a sense of accomplishment, develop transferable skills and connect with the community. The Reserve Ranger Program Coordinator will also gain valuable experience in the managing of real property through planning, coordination, and implementation of maintenance processes and task delegation. Support: Reserve Rangers will receive training and orientation in their assigned positions according to their skill set and the needs of their role. Responsibilities/Tasks: • Remain informed about and comply with the most current policies, procedures, and guidelines of Girl Scouts- Diamonds of AR, OK and TX and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA).

    OFFICE USE ONLY Date received Status CAMP STAFF APPLICATION Use this application to apply for seasonal camp employment opportunities with the Oregon Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Oregon Trail Council, in accordance with federal laws, provides equal opportunities to employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. Summer Camp Staff Camp Baker hosts both Boy Scout and Cub Scout resident camp programs, and Camp Melakwa hosts Boy Scout camp programs only. The minimum age for most positions are 15, 18, and 21 years of age depending on position and level of responsibility. Counselor-in-Training / Volunteer Staff (unpaid position) Scouts between the ages of 14 and 17 can be trained as summer camp staff through the counselor-in-training program, volunteering 2 or more weeks to experience what it is like to work at a Boy Scout summer camp. At Oregon Trail Council camps, CITs must attend Staff Week. Opportunities for individuals over the age of 18 to volunteer for all or part of the summer season are also available (including, but not limited to, serving as a commissioner, medic/physician, assistant ranger or chaplain).
