February 26, 2021 Amazon warehouse workers in Bessemer, Alabama are voting to form a union with the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU). We are the writers of feature films and television series. All of our work is done under union contracts whether it appears on Amazon Prime, a different streaming service, or a television network. Unions protect workers with essential rights and benefits. Most importantly, a union gives employees a seat at the table to negotiate fair pay, scheduling and more workplace policies. Limited Edition of 100 Signed & Numbered. Page 1 of 3 The Mighty Boosh is an award winning British comedy show created and written by comedians Noel Fielding & Julian Barratt. Also starring regular cast members Rich Fulcher, Michael Fielding and Dave Brown. Developed from 3 stage shows appearing at Edinburgh & Melbourne Comedy Festivals, The Boosh has since produced a 6 episode radio series, 3 television series (a total of 20 television episodes) for the BBC, which have aired worldwide and 2 sell out live tours of the UK, as well as performing exclusive live shows in the United States and Australia. Dave Brown has been part of The Mighty Boosh since its conception in the late 90s. Over the years he has been involved in many aspects of the show from designing DVDs, books and merchandise to choreography, music and playing many characters in the show itself, most famously Bollo, the Gorilla. Dave’s also had a camera in his hand from day 1 of the show. These photographs of his fellow cast members and good friends span over 12 years. Photographs from early live gigs, filming the TV shows and behind the scenes whilst on tour. They provide a unique insight into the lives and characters of The Mighty Boosh collective. Dave is alone in his photographic documentation of the show. He has reduced his extensive archive to 46 of his personal favourites to exhibit here at Oriel Colwyn, many being shown for the first time. -

The best of British – Arctic Monkeys , Muse and Kasabian – will take on stateside success stories My Chemical Romance and The Killers on March 1 at Hammersmith Palais. Let battle commence! This year, there’s no one clear leader but FIVE bands that dominate the nominations list. With four nominations each, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Kasabian, The Killers and My Chemical Romance have been chosen by the fans to fight it out on the night. For the past two years, it’s been British bands sweeping the board, but this year The Killers and My Chemical Romance may very well make the 2007 ceremony a stateside success story. Arctic Monkeys made NME Awards history last year by scooping the Award for both Best New Band and Best British Band in the same year, in addition to winning Best Track and scoring a nomination for Best Live Band . Sheffield’s favourites have matched their achievement, with four nominations this year for Best British Band, Best Live Band, Best Album and Best Music DVD. Arctic Monkeys said: “Very nice, we didn’t think we would get any this year! It seems weird for us to be alongside them [the competition] because we still feel like a little band. When it’s your own thing you don’t really see yourself alongside The Killers and Kasabian.” The Monkeys have more than one tough fight on their hands if they want to claim the Best British Band title for the second year running, though. -

My Lord, in this action for misuse of private information, I appear on behalf of the Claimant, Mr Noel Fielding. My learned friend, Mr Silverstone, appears on behalf of the Defendant, News Group Newspapers Limited. 2. The Claimant is a comedian, actor and television presenter best known for his creation of, and role in, the BBC television series ‘The Mighty Boosh’. As a result of the Claimant’s high profile, he was a person of interest to the press. 3. The Defendant was the publisher of the News of the World which, until its closure in July 2011, was the UK’s biggest selling Sunday newspaper with a very considerable readership in this jurisdiction. The Defendant was, and remains, the publisher of The Sun which still enjoys a substantial circulation and readership in this jurisdiction both in the hard copies of its publications and on its website. 4. In March 2019, the Claimant issued proceedings against the Defendant. Mr Fielding claimed that his voicemail messages were intercepted by the Defendant’s journalists and that as a result, these journalists would have been privy to private and confidential voicemail messages left on his mobile telephone by others, such as his family and close friends. -

After the recent success of BBC comedies such as Outnumbered and My Family, BBC1 Controller Danny Cohen apparently told his team of producers that BBC Comedy was becoming ‘too middle class’, and failing in its responsibility to appeal to working class viewers (Gammell, 2011; Revoir, 2011; Leith, 2011). -
