Egypt‟s Ex-President Hosni Mubarak Sentenced To Life In Prison Hosni Mubarak was sentenced to life in prison on 2nd June for failing to stop the killing of protesters during the uprising that forced him from power last year .And also given life term for the killings was Mubarak‘s former Interior Minister Habibal-Adly, while six former police commanders were acquitted. Malik Suspended From Senate Over Dual Nationality The supreme court on 4 June suspended interior minister Rehman Malik from the senate (the upper house of parliament) for failing to produce the necessary documents to establish that he had given up his British nationality.
