Jon Voight Cary Elwes Ben Gazzara Christopher Lee James Cromwell “Voight is quite extraordinary. Besides doing a spot-on impersonation of Pope John Paul’s public persona, he ages most convincingly... It’s a heart wrenching portrayal.” — HARRY FORBES, CATHOLIC NEWS SERVICE “Although shot on a lavish scale in Italy, Poland and elsewhere, ‘Pope John Paul II’ succeeds on in- timate terms... and Elwes and Voight are largely responsible. The movie is honestly and actually about something... It’s the ability to instill joy in human hearts, and the film not only celebrates it but, in its finest moments, even possesses it.” — THE WASHINGTON POST “More than anything, Voight’s performance... taps into John Paul’s emotional life... it’s a remarkable performance.” — VARIETY “Watching this film has renewed in me a sense of profound gratitude to God for having given the Church and the world a Pope of such an exalted human and spiritual nature.” — POPE BENEDICT XVI BASED ON THE POWERFUL T R U E S TORY JON VOIGHT CARY ELWES BEN GAZZARA CHRISTOPHER LEE JAMES CROMWELL DIRECTED BY JOHN KENT HARRISON IGNATIUS PRESS PRESENTS A LUXVIDE, RAIFICTION, CBS, RAITRADE, GRUPO INTERECONOMIA, BALTMEDIA PROJEKTOR PRODUCTION “POPE JOHN PAUL II” starring JON VOIGHT, CARY ELWES, BEN GAZZARA, JAMES CROMWELL AND CHRISTOPHER LEE DIRECTED BY JOHN KENT HARRISON PRODUCED BY LUCA BERNABEI, FANIA PETROCCHI EXECUTIVE PRODUCER ANSELMO PARRINELLO stOry by FRANCESCO CONTALDO SCreenplay by FRANCESCO CONTALDO, SAlvATORE BASILE, FRANCESCO ArlANCH, WEslEY BISHOP anD JOHN KENT HArrISON MUSIC COMPOSED AND CONDUCTED BY MARCO FRISINA | SPECIAL THANKS TO CBS FOR THEIR HELP AND COOperatiON ON THIS FILM PROJECT © 2005 LUXVIDE, GRUPA FILMOWA BALTMEDIA & STUDIO FILMOWE PROJEKTOR, GRUPO INTERECONOMIA, RAI TRADE SEE IT ON THE “BIG SCREEN!” LOCATION: DATE/TIME: FOR TICKET/INFO, CONTACT: .

Cast Biographies RILEY KEOUGH (Christine Reade) Riley Keough, 26, is one of Hollywood’s rising stars. At the age of 12, she appeared in her first campaign for Tommy Hilfiger and at the age of 15 she ignited a media firestorm when she walked the runway for Christian Dior. From a young age, Riley wanted to explore her talents within the film industry, and by the age of 19 she dedicated herself to developing her acting craft for the camera. In 2010, she made her big-screen debut as Marie Currie in The Runaways starring opposite Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. People took notice; shortly thereafter, she starred alongside Orlando Bloom in The Good Doctor, directed by Lance Daly. Riley’s memorable work in the film, which premiered at the Tribeca film festival in 2010, earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Milan International Film Festival in 2012. Riley’s talents landed her a title-lead as Jack in Bradley Rust Gray’s werewolf flick Jack and Diane. She also appeared alongside Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey in Magic Mike, directed by Steven Soderbergh, which grossed nearly $167 million worldwide. Further in 2011, she completed work on director Nick Cassavetes’ film Yellow, starring alongside Sienna Miller, Melanie Griffith and Ray Liota, as well as the Xan Cassavetes film Kiss of the Damned. As her camera talent evolves alongside her creative growth, so do the roles she is meant to play. Recently, she was the lead in the highly-anticipated fourth installment of director George Miller’s cult- classic Mad Max - Mad Max: Fury Road alongside a distinguished cast comprising of Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz and Nick Hoult.

  • Tax Man Chases Dread Pirate Roberts
Robert W. Wood THE TAX LAWYER Dec. 25 2012 Tax Man Chases Dread Pirate Roberts (Like A Rodent Of Unusual Size) Cary Elwes’ defining role was as Robin Wright Penn’s beloved farm boy Westley in The Princess Bride. He morphed from farm boy into Dread Pirate Roberts and managed to survive due in part to his immunity to Iocane Powder. Unfortunately, it appears that the actor isn’t immune to tax liens or to the tax problems they evidence. In fact, tax (Photo credit: Wikipedia) collectors in the Golden State claim Elwes hasn’t paid his state taxes since 2009 and now owes $26,207.82. See Princess Bride Star Cary Elwes Running From The Tax Man. There are suggestions Elwes has other debts too. A tax lien is hardly as scary as RODENTS OF UNUSUAL SIZE, and things can fall through the cracks. This may sound like a minor tax debt, but California tax authorities want their money. Of course, Elwes clearly isn’t the first celebrity to be caught in the tax crosshairs. Even big names like Martin Scorsese ($2.85 million) and Al Pacino ($188,000) have faced tax liens, although both their oops tax problems were tied to convicted celebrity accountant Kenneth Starr. Scorsese, See Pacino Whacked by IRS Tax Liens. Sometimes tax liens are even wrong. See Dionne Warwick Proves IRS Tax Liens Can Be Wrong. Most of the time, though, tax liens are steps in the tax collection process and eventually lead to payment. The IRS and the states can file liens and any lien can be significant.
