2014 Annual Environmental Awards Dinner On Friday May 9, 2014 Keep Pearland Beautiful will host the annual Environmental Awards Dinner at the Pearland Community Center. This annual event, attended by local elected officials and members of the community, is the culmination of the Great American Cleanup, a 3-month celebration in the City of Pearland of environmental education and environmental awareness, and our effort to make everyday Earth Day. Keep Pearland Beautiful will honor members of the community who began a green and sustainable movement in the City of Pearland and who continue to help KPB fulfill its mission to make Pearland the cleanest, most beautiful city in Texas. The evening culminates with the presentation of the Stella Roberts Golden Pear Award, given to members of the community who have made lasting contributions to improving or protecting the environment.
