Arthritis Research Canada is a national organization headquartered in British Columbia, and is the largest clinical arthritis research centre in North America. Your support will make important advances in the prevention and treatment of arthritis. Celebrating its sixth year as the signature fundraising event for Arthritis Research Canada, the 2018 ARThritis Soirée will return to The Roof at the Hotel Vancouver on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Guests will be treated to a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres, champagne, an exquisite raffle item, silent and live auctions, and a memorable performance by Juno Award winner, Colin James. The ARThritis Soirée will continue to be presented as an elegant cocktail reception, allowing guests the opportunity to circulate and network. The event is designed to attract the city’s business and community leaders, philanthropists, doctors and other health care professionals through the appreciation of art and the desire to support arthritis research. Why an ARThritis Soirée? Research has shown that art adds to one’s wellbeing and is therefore a great element in managing chronic diseases on a holistic level. Moreover, with a different art form chosen each year, there is an extra factor of excitement and depth to the Soirée. Arthritis Research Canada is thrilled to announce an intimate evening with Colin James. From the prairies of Saskatchewan to the stages of the world, sharing his talent with some of the greatest and most influential musicians of all time, Colin James has quietly and steadily established himself as one of Canada's greatest musicians. Guests will be treated to an up close and personal show with Colin, who will amaze with his rock, blues, and R&B style of music.
