Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services in association with ET NOW, announced the names of the companies who will participate in the Capgemini Super Techies Show, a first-of- its-kind reality television show for Information Technology (IT) professionals. The show will be aired every Saturday at 1930hrs with repeat telecast on Sunday 1230hrs and Friday 1030hrs. Real-life ‘technology-business’ challenges will be shared by 7 large enterprises with 21 pairs of young IT professionals. These teams (chosen over 20,000 aspirants and 9000 registrations) have been hand-picked, after a stringent selection process, which was based on gauging the applicant’s technology skills and business problem-solving abilities. The winning team will win a grand prize of INR 10 lakhs and the title of India’s first ‘Super Techie’. The show will provide an interesting insight into some of the challenges faced by leading organisations and their expectations from technology. ” About Capgemini Super Techies Show Capgemini Super Techies Show will air on ET Now on 28th July - 15th September 2012 (eight episodes). Each episode will feature three teams, presenting their technology solutions in response to a company’s business challenge. The jury, comprising of technology leaders from the participating companies, established technologists and subject matter experts from Capgemini will award points to each team based on their solution. At the end of each episode, the scores of the team are recorded on a leader board and accordingly the top three teams on the leader board, after the seventh episode, will compete in the Grand Finale of Capgemini Super Techies Show.
