The Dudesons – Episode Descriptions The Dudesons – Episode Descriptions Monday, July 11 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons decide to become crime fighters and their four alter egos go for action: Jukka is “The Invisible Man” and enters public places completely naked. HP is “The Fly Man” and tries flying with a lethal moped stunt. Jarno is the strength-challenged “Muscle Man”. And finally, Jarppi is “The Manimal Man” who turns into a horny rabbit that humps beautiful women around the city. When the four superheroes are finally fully trained, they realize there is not enough crime in their peaceful home town. So Jarppi decides to organize a real crime spree with illegal candid camera pranks… Tuesday, July 12 at 8:30pm ET/PT Space race! Dudesons want to be the first men on Mars! The new season starts with a bang when Jarppi stands on the roof of a multi-store building and it’s blown to pieces underneath him! After this Dudesons start training in muscle dexterity to meet the physical demands of space travel. They run a series of tests with evil alien enemies and blister-inducing ovens! Finally, Dudesons build themselves a real space rocket and prepare for the launch. Space - here we come! Wednesday, July 13 at 8:30pm ET/PT Dudesons play a game of “follow the leader”: Each Dudeson gets to lead others in a gnarly stunt challenge. Those who fail to follow will drop out and end up in the Dudesons Gay Parade at downtown! Let the games begin! Jukka leads others to glide down a stairway fence, balls first, hitting the knob at the end. HP takes them through a dangerous racetrack in cars with no steering possibilities. Jarppi leads the boys through a painful electric fence track. Other events include the horizontal ATV Bull’s-eye Bungee, the high-spinning Vomitron The Sequel and a car-meets-wall game of Playing Chicken! Thursday, July 14 at 8:30pm ET/PT Each Dudeson gets a day in his childhood dream job! HP the Fireman chases a burning car through the city. Jukka the Lifeguard drowns a trailer with other Dudesons in it. Jarno the Policeman catches Dudeson-burglars. And Jarppi the Construction Engineer finds out he is better at deconstructing than constructing! Friday, July 15 at 8:30pm ET/PT Dudesons divide their ranch into four nations, with four leaders. At first diplomacy prevails, but soon everything turns into full-blown world war: Dynamite strikes, glue- bombs, booby-traps, Tabasco-torture, wall-breakers and other forms of warfare madness! No prisoners! No mercy! Monday, July 18 at 8:30pm ET/PT After destroying dozens of cars over the years, Dudesons build the ultimate Dudeson Mobile. A car that will survive even in the most extreme conditions! But first they prepare several test cars for a set of tests: Submarine car, talking car and bumper car all travel through lethal obstacles with their fearless drivers. Dudesons also pierce their ears with huge nails and use a flamethrower to turn Jarppi into a human torch! Finally the boys finish up the fully equipped Dudeson Mobile, but things go wrong as the police decide to interfere… Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30pm ET/PT Winter arrives to Finland, and Bam Margera and Brandon Novak join Dudesons in their Winter Olympics! Two teams, no rules, no mercy: Fireworks Rumble, Rooftop Surfing, Blister Blaster, Mousetrap Torture, Fire Rider and much more! Only the fittest will survive! Wednesday, July 20 at 8:30pm ET/PT Jarppi’s missing thumb has been stored in secret location for 10 years. Now Dudesons do a big city funeral party, to finally destroy the thumb for real! But metropolitan life isn’t easy for the boys, as they confront angry police, dead reindeers and other wonders of city life. Finally, the big party goes completely off the rails: Jukka suffers injuries in a motorbike stunt and Jarppi falls down 50 feet inside a car, into a pile of wrecked automobiles and dynamite… Thursday, July 21 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons prepare for the biggest stunt of Season 3: Trailer Destruction Derby! Meanwhile, they do a countdown of their top 10 favorite moments of the season! Friday, July 22 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons play a game of Follow the Leader. In the arctic surroundings of the mountainous Northern Finland, each Dudeson gets to lead an event of his choosing, and the others have to follow...They race with reindeers, jump from big snowboarding kickers and dive under ice in freezing water…Who will be the winner this time? Monday, July 25 at 8:30pm ET/PT The freezing winter comes to Finland and Jarppi decides it’s time to overthrow Santa Claus! He will be Santa, the other Dudesons will be his elves, and they all train hard with reindeers, sleds and other modes of Christmas transportation. Then Santa and his little helpers go to town and try to get people to act naughty in candid camera pranks. When they finally find someone who won’t get angry and stays nice all the time, they prepare the gifts and give him a Christmas to remember! Tuesday, July 26 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons travel to Australia with Dirty Sanchez to do a big live tour. One week, five cities. But this is not enough - high-stakes gambling is given a new meaning when the Dudesons compete by betting on dares they give each other. Wednesday, July 27 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons have seen in movies how aliens from outer space are a constant threat to all of humanity. It’s time to protect the world with the ultimate defence system: The Robot Man! The building of the Robot Man suit requires several tests and of course some of the Dudesons need to play out the role of alien invaders who attack the city. When in a candid camera the aliens buy a cow for mutilation and anal probing, it’s time for the Robot Man to come to the rescue. Things climax when he uses his flying saucer to jump off a big kicker and into a giant cardboard alien from outer space! Thursday, July 28 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons fly to America to do a promotional tour in Hollywood where they meet Nitro Circus and in the end fly to Mexico to host MTV Latin Video Music Awards. Friday, July 29 at 8:30pm ET/PT The Dudesons rebuild their sauna and go old school with snowboards, cars and bikes. .

    About the Crew JULIEN NITZBERG/ DIRECTOR – Like Grandmaster Flash, Stanley Kubrick and David Berkowitz, Julien Nitzberg was raised in the Bronx. At age 16, he became a founding member of the notorious and much despised Lower East Side hardcore punk band Artless . After college, Nitzberg moved to the Appalachian Mountains, where he directed The Wild World of Hasil Adkins, One Man Band And Inventor of the Hunch a documentary about Boone County’s infamous punk progenitor and rockabilly pioneer. This film featured the first footage of Mamie White who broke up a three-way catfight between female fans of Hasil Adkins during a concert sequence. This auspicious meeting led to Nitzberg’s friendship with the White family and his shooting the first video footage of Jesco White in 1989. This footage became the basis for Dancing Outlaw on which he served as Associate Producer. After moving to California, Nitzberg directed the feature film Bury Me in Kern County . As a screenwriter, Nitzberg has written for HBO, SHOWTIME, TNT, VH1 and NBC. In 2006, Nitzberg wrote and directed the controversial operetta The Beastly Bombing or A Terrible Tale of Terrorists Tamed by the Tangles of True Love , which won the LA Weekly Theater Critics’ Musical of the Year Award and was dubbed by the Huffington Post- “the first great work of comedy to emerge from the post-9/11 little planet of horrors.” After playing for over a year in Los Angeles, The Beastly Bombing went on to be staged in New York, Chicago and Amsterdam. He is currently writing a script for HBO Films based on the strange life of the civil rights activist and professional wrestler Sputnik Monroe.

This article explores the question of affective capitalism in the emergence of ‘doing good’ reality by focusing on particular masculine representations of care. It is argued that the ‘doing good’ television (also referred to as ethical entertainment, charity TV and makeover humanitarianism) exemplifies affective capitalism and resonates with at least two larger shifts: the increased commercialization of the humanitarian field and the increased convergent strategies in digitalized media environment. While much of the work on affective economies of reality TV has focused on women’s work, this article explores what happens when men perform care in popular television. By focusing on two case studies (Arman ja Kamerunin kummilapset, Duudsonit tuli taloon), this article points out how emotions and affectivity work across gender and appear as significant part of masculine representations of humanitarianism and care work. The masculine humanitarians of reality TV propose new kind of authenticity to humanitarian work through self-made expertise and down-to-earth sentimentality. Moreover these shows use the convergent strategies of online participation to monetize the sentiments of compassion to humanitarian organizations as well as the brand of the celebrities. By acknowledging the popularity and enthusiasm evoked by these reality shows, the article critically discusses the contradictory implications of doing good reality for solidarity and care work at large.
