The sale started with BFL which topped at £1850 for an in lamb shearling scanned for three from the Emmetts Flock from AC & K Pye. Messrs Booth, Smearsett Flock, sold an in lamb shearling to £1300 whilst R & PE Hargreaves, Barley sold to £1000. BFL Hoggs from the Redgate Flock of WM Hutchinson sold to £1800 and £1600. The Association Sale of Swaledale Sheep peaked at £2600 for a Bull & Cave sired shearling carrying twins to Stonesdale Governor find- ing a new home with Frank Brennand of Ellerbeck, who also bought a gimmer hogg from the same home sired by Keld-side Quantum at £1050.
