The viscosity of the paint may be modified by the addition of a solvent such as turpentine or white spirit, and varnish may be added to increase the glossiness of the dried oil paint film. Oil paints have been used in Europe since the 12th century for simple decoration, but were not widely adopted as an artistic medium until the early 15th century. The technical history of the introduction and development of oil paint, and the date of introduction of various additives (driers, thinners) is still-despite intense research since the mid 18th century-not well understood. ‘Euphoria’ Founder’s Art Exhibition 15th October 2015 Exhibition of ICSE, ISC & IB Board Examination Artwork Source: Wikipedia Photography ‘Canvas’ Founder’s Photography Exhibition 15th October 2015 Design & Technology ‘Out of the Box’ Founder’s Exhibition 15th October 2015 Music Concert of operatic arias by soprano Patricia Rozario, OBE and Mark Troop (piano) 21st August 2015 Soprano Patricia Rozario, OBE Music School Auditorium Patricia Rozario, OBE is a 6.30pm-7.25pm Bombay-born British soprano. • Twelve Angry Men - Group Dynamics Perspective Sunday, 10 October 2010 11:54
Twelve Angry Men - Group Dynamics Perspective Sunday, 10 October 2010 11:54 Sometimes group dynamics can’t be understood through just reading books or case studies. It can be best learnt or understood when seen or experienced. Most of the MBA students undergo GD processes before they enter the B-School of their choice, so they have some idea of what how group dynamics can lead to different results. 12 Angry Men is one such movie which shows how group dynamics can actually lead to success or failures.12 Angry Men is a classic movie which was released in 1957.In the movie 12 men are put in one single room to discuss a case and reach a final decision on it. Until they don’t come up with a final decision no one is allowed to leave. Much similar to a typical GD session.Group dynamics is related with the structure and functioning of groups as well as the different types of roles each individual plays. In the film, twelve men are brought together in a room to decide whether a boy is guilty of killing his father. In the whole movie, each member has been crafted very carefully. He has been given a proper role to play in the group dynamics. The whole spectrum of humanity is represented in this movie, from the bigotry of Juror No.10 to the coldly analytical No.4. Whether they brought good or bad qualities to the jury room, they all affected the outcome. In the start, the movie shocks the viewer.
