The first single malt, a heavily peated no-age-statement release, was launched in February 2016, after eight years of operation. 1154 Ailsa Bay 48.9% £17.55 Creamy with sherried fruit, a touch of honey and spice on the nose. A sweet, malty, marmalade-like taste with a mellow malty and citrusy finish. ANNANDALE (ANNAN-dale) Annandale Distillery was established in 1836 by George Donald and was later bought by Johnnie Walker in 1893 and was closed down in 1924. It has re-opened in 2014 and first cask of unpeated whisky made the news and was put up for sale for a staggering £1million. 8416 Man O'sword 2015 Bourbon Cask # 471 59.6% £26.90 Inspired by the legendary King Robert the Bruce and his success at the Battle of Bannockburn, the 2015-vintage Man O'Swords is a smoky, fruity single malt from Annandale, matured in a single ex-bourbon cask. 8527 Man O'words 2015 Bourbon Cask # 150 61.6% £26.90 Inspired by Scotland's famous poet Robert Burns, this 2015-vintage Man O'Words is an elegant single malt from Annandale distillery,
