YE OLDE CAR CLUB YEAR 2013 Ye Olde Car Club of the Tri-Cities was officially chartered in 1963 to preserve and maintain motor vehicles of historical value and to serve as an accurate and technical source of information concerning historical automobiles for the benefit of its members as well as the general public. Ye Olde Car Club is headquartered in Kennewick, Washington and has members primarily from Southeast Washington, Western Washington, Idaho and Alaska -- over a hundred individuals and families with nearly 400 antique and classic automobiles. Aside from regular monthly meetings, club members participate in frequent community and social events, driving tours both short and long, and a variety of activities each month. Annual dues are only $15, with the only membership requirement being an appreciation for historical automobiles. As an old car club, we are also there to guide you when you decide to buy an old car, help you to restore it, share stories about your car, and provide whatever it takes to see that owning an old car is an enjoyable experience for you! Our club has among it's members a wealth of knowledge about the auto industry that we would love to share with you. Some of our members usually can be found at the 2500 Queensgate Sterlings Restaurant in Richland at 8am on Wednesdays. Come and say "Hi". You'll be surprised at how much fun can be had for only $15 a year! Each of these men shared a passion for antique automobiles and the mutual desire to own, restore, maintain and drive these splendid old machines. There little group grew quickly as the number of members doubled, and then doubled again. Today the membership in the club includes over one hundred individuals and families. These members bring with them hundreds of classic cars of all vintages. Surely, the founders of the club never expected their creation to attract so much attention. More significant, they could never foreseen the special role the club would to play as the members passed on an appreciation of the history of automotive technology to the next generation, and watched more and more youngsters recognize the importance of preserving these wonderful old relics. 2013 Events Schedule 01/10 Richland Ladies’ Luncheon at Rosy’s Ice Cream & Diner Hosted by Ginger Vetrano 01/24 Richland Pizza Party Round Table Pizza 6:00 -8:00 PM Matt Radar 628-9895 (44 members attended) 02/14 Richland Ladies’ Luncheon at Richland Red Lion Restaurant Hosted by Jane Armstrong 02/15 Kennewick Chocolate Extravaganza Jim Vetrano's 7 PM (39 members attended) 03/14 Richland Ladies’ Luncheon at El Rancho Alegre Restaurant Hosted by Mary Fraser 03/16 Heppner St Paddy's Day Cruz-In $20 Reg. 9 AM Take Flyer for Swap Meet (4 vehicles & 8 members) 03/20 Kennewick Wayne Williams Funeral (8 vehicles & 11 members attended) 03/23 Sunnyside Show n Shine Senior Car Show Fundraiser $10 Reg. 10 AM (4 vehicles & 5 members attended) 04/11 Richland Ladies’ Luncheon at Jackson Home Hosted by Lenora Jackson 04/18 Kennewick Tri Tech Skills Center – Breakfast & Tour 8:30 am (19 vehicles & 23 members attended) 04/24 Prescott Myrtle Nesbitt / Bob Rupp Apple Driving Tour & Picnic to Broetje Orchards (15 vehicle & 23 members) 04/25 Richland Kiona Wine Visit – 1:00 – 3:00 pm Jeriann LeBlanc 509-588-6716 (20 vehicles & 44 members attended) 04/27 Benton City Spring Opener Car & Bike Show $20.00 Reg. 7 AM (9 vehicles & 11 members attended) 04/30 Pasco Tri-Cities Retirement Inn volunteers thank you party 3:00 pm at 2000 N. 22nd Street, Pasco, WA ( 4 members) 05/04 Kennewick Ye Olde Car Club Swap Meet (41 members at setup) 05/08 Kennewick Tri Tech -
